Perk?
Leon?
Big Baby?
Mikki Moore?

I'd probably have to say Perk now actually.  He's the new anchor of that defense inside and he needs to show it.  He needs to show that the inside presence is still there.

I'd actually say that Mikki Moore is second because you know what you're gonna get from Davis and especially from Powe.  But Moore needs to show us that us signing him was a big deal.

It's gotta be Perk, for the reason you just mentioned... But the other guys really have to step up there defense if they want to even think about advancing to the ecf.

Just keep Mikki out as much as possible, we don't need him single handedly bringing the C's over the foul limit in these playoff games.

But yea it has to be Perk, he is going to be the last line of defense for the people who drive the hoop.

The answer is both Davis and Powe. Both players will have to significantly raise their games. We know what we will get from Mikki Moore, which is very little. Perkins is steady like a rock and excels within his role. I think, however, that both Powe and Davis have the most room within their games to make a large impact in the playoffs.

Agreed, Perk will be Perk, there's not much more he can do. Powe and Big Baby will be splitting minutes and both offer different skills, this is a real chance for them to prove what kind of players they are.

Its Scal. We need scal's defense & shooting. But the one guy that can elevate his status to superstardum is Powe . He can dominate at any giving time. We need him to be 18 9 guy for a repeat championship.

As much as I think Powe and Baby need to step up, I think its almost unfair to ask them to step up more than they have since KG has been out. Both of them have played very well in his absence and have probably made the leap they were going to make this season.

I think Mikki has to step up in these playoffs, if for no other reason than with KG out, we can't just hide him at the end of the bench.

We need Marbury to play like the Marbury of seven years ago. We need Tony Allen to emerge as that all-star caliber player like he did before he got hurt in 2006. We need Scalabrine to come back healthy and be the 3.5 million dollar role player he was supposed to be. We need Davis and Powe to play out of their minds for big contracts. (Like Austen Croshere did that year in Indiana.) We need Rondo to be the best point guard in the playoffs. We need to limit Moore's playing time significantly. And lastly, we need Paul and Ray to play like Paul and Ray.

I wish Moore with his size would step up, but gosh he plays real fragile/scared like. He gets pushed around a lot and doesnt time his jumping right

I hope he proves otherwise but hes the one thst got me usually yelling at my tv screen game in game out

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Davis. I don't think Perkins is capable of filling KG's offensive shoes, but Baby has shown he's able in flashes.

Perk- we need a presence on defense first and foremost.  Perk has done a nice job blocking shots this year and really has improved his overall game (finally).  We need perk to play good d which he's always done, get 10 bds a game and stay out of foul trouble (cross fingers)
Davis-has shown offensive signs that he really does have it, if he hits the outside shot and continues that great little hook shot he showed last game it'll be big
Powe-we know we will get a double double from the guy, he will step up, he's solid, i don't expect 30 pt outburst from him just good hardnosed bb
moore-he will help but is at the bottom of the list, if he hits the outside j he spreads the bigs, fouls only when needed, repeat repeat ; and runs the floor to even just work the other teams bigs i'm happy, kinda expected his minutes to be down to 10 or so for playoffs but hes gonna get time

so my vote is perk with a ramble on everyone included
didn't forget scal but don't expect to see him 1st series

All about Perk, and him becoming the Leader on the defensive end of the court.
