Have Bill Walker pull a JoJo English on Lebron and start a fight. Walker gets suspended for the series, Lebron for 3 games and we move on to the finals. Then Pruitt repeats with Kobe  ;D

I love it, except one thing. Stern would reverse the suspensions and would fine the Celts a million bucks, kick Walker out of league indefinitely, suspend Doc and DA for the playoffs, and reduce the Lebron suspension to 1 minute and then issue an apology to him on behalf of the league. Then he'd act like it was his responsibility as commissioner to have to make that decision and that he would make it again under any circumstances and that it would apply to any team.

Hmm...Have JR Giddens go after Stern ???

p.s. I meant the Celtic, not the banned former celticblogger great. But either would suffice I guess.  ;)

Win the first two series, then borrow D'Antoni to stand next to Doc for the Cleveland series.  Alternate Doc's system with D'Antoni's every five minutes.  Easy as cake ;)

Strategy isn't the key.  This team still has the horses to win it all, but in order to do that it is going to take them turning up the intensity about 5 notches, and attacking on both ends of the floor.

They essentially need to play like the Hawks did last year against them...except they have a ton more talent.

It's on Powe and Baby. C's have a great starting back court and now a great duo off the bench in Marbury and House. Pierce is a better small forward than anyone not named Lebron. Tony Allen is an acceptable backup considering Pierce will probably play like 42 mins. Perk is a very good center for our system. The key is Powe and Baby to round out the big man rotation. I think offensively they'll be fine, but what is necessary is for them to have maximum defensive intensity. They won't match KG on defense, but they need to try and aim to be close. I don't have much faith in Moore, b/c he seems too soft for playoff basketball and makes a lot of foolish mistakes. If he's playing more than 5 or so minutes a game that will hurt us.

Hopefully the bigs rotation and minutes will look something like this (and eliminate the need for Moore):

Perk 36 mins at Center
Baby 12 mins at Center and 18 mins at PF
Powe 30 mins at PF

edit- Oops I had Pierce at Center in my opening paragraph. Ha.

We need to limit ourselves to < 15 turnovers a game and execute our defensive rotations perfectly.

And the fans at the Garden need to be absolutely nuts - louder and rowdier than any other NBA crowd has ever been - to ensure our team doesn't lose any homes games.

Rondo CANNOT gamble for steals all game, he needs to stay solid and keep his man out of the lanes. Otherwise he's gonna kill our bigs with fouls.

Have Bill Russell come down for the pre game hugs Posey style.

No seriously I could see Doc playing some small ball at times and he has the bullets to do so with Pierce at the 4 and any combo of either Allen, Rondo, House, and Marbury at the 1, 2, and 3.  Any of the Bulls PFs would have problems with Pierce and on the defensive end we could get away with it I think as I don't consider Thomas, Noah, Miller pure post up players like Powe.  Rebounding wise Chicago is only 20th in the league so I don't think we would get hurt too much on the boards.   Also getting Deng not guarding Pierce is a side benefit as Deng has caused some problems in the past for Paul.  Chicago is 4th in the league in 3 point shooting and play at a fast pace so a less traditional lineup might help.  Also the Bulls guards of Rose, Gordon, and Hinrich is smallish so we could get away easier with any combo of Rondo-House, Rondo-Marbury, Marbury-House in the backcourt.

I'm just thinking strategy in the first round for now.

Paul Pierce at the 4 is honestly a really good idea against orlando, that would mean putting TA at the 3 and we wouldn't have anyone to come off the bench at the 3.
