At second place in the west Denver is playing defense and has ALOT of scoring, i like them and think chauncey can lead them to the western finals.

I think not signing the Birdman was a mistake this off-season. Obviously hinesight is 20-20 but he would have been huge for us in KG's absence.

The Nuggets are getting blasted up in Portland right now.

Denver is not a contender. It'll be interesting to see who they get in the first round, the first round could be a major struggle for them.

Portland is the best team that doesn't get mentioned much.

They have too many holes and lapses to win a championship, hope they can beat the Fakers though.

They're by far not the best team, but certainly no one really says anything about them that I hear of. The Atlanta Hawks. They seem to have just crept into the 4 seed for this years playoffs, they've given the Celtics and Cavs close games all year and I think they'll take care of the Heat in 5, 6 at most. They could really hassle teams in the playoffs.
CB Draft - New York Knicks
PG: George Hill / Nate Robinson
SG: Dwyane Wade / Gerald Henderson / Christian Eyenga
SF:  Grant Hill / Paul George / Earl Clark
PF:  Kenyon Martin / Jordan Hill / (Earl Clark)
C:   Greg Oden / Kurt Thomas / Hilton Armstong

The Nuggets don't defend well enough to win a championship.  Nene is playing well, but he's no Camby on defense. I agree that the dark horse team in the West is Portland.

Interesting call - I am not sure they will get to the WCF, but if they do, they really matchup well against the Lakers. Billups and Anthony will own Fisher and Ariza, Nene and Martin can bully Gasol and Odom, and they have a better bench. Could be good.

I think for the Nuggs to do some damage everything has to line up perfect for them. If just a couple things go wrong I think they could be out of the playoffs fast.  If KMart is hurting and can't play his best AND JR Smith is clanking bricks I don't think they win.

They need healthy and motivated A games out of Billups and Melo.

They need Nene to play like a top 7 center.

They need Kleiza AND JR Smith lighting it up when they enter the game

They need KMart fighting underneath

They need Birdman blocking everything they can

If they get ALL that then maybe they do real well, but I don't see all that happening over the course of more than one or two 7 game series.

Denver is always a mystery........they do great things individually, Billups is their only hope of seeing the light.....but they don't love defense....we could use that birdman kid, he gives it all, a little strange for Boston, kind of like that lambchops kid we had,,,too bad he was injured too much....my vote is for Portland..but i have been saying this all along......they are the ONLY lakers slayers over there...all year and at home for many years in a row, it must be a matchup thing because i haven't ever seen them play each other, but, Portland has difficulties with most other teams.....and Houston is getting tough....Atlanta can be tough too....To me, Denver is still missing something, NO is missing a lot, what the heck is Posey doing....he went there to coast for the $$$....
