2nd & 3rd Qts being outscored by 4 points, that is competitive basketball.  A 9 minute run is what it is, a 9 minute run.  9 minutes isn't a game. A game is at least 36 minutes because the 4th can be garbage time. 4 Full Games is 192 minutes, and that is the least amount of minutes possible in a 7 game series.

I haven't looked for a game either, but knowing from experience I don't recall any so I might start looking for fun. Anyway every blowout game that I can remember has the winning team outplaying the other mainly every quarter and always 2 Qts in a row, or they take a sizeable lead and then run away with it in the 4th.

Well, suffice it to say we have different perspectives on the importance of playing competitive stretches in a 31 point loss.

The `06-'07 Celtics were a very competitive team, and I loved them for that, but they didn't win a heck of a lot of games.  In short, being competitive for stretches of games doesn't amount to a hill of beans if the other team ends up scoring more points than you did (and even less in a 31 point defeat).
Yup
