Thank you, Steve. All the silly rationalization on this board of a thoroughly inept, unacceptable performance from the defending champs is sickening.
There is no such thing as a meaningless loss, especially when you don't compete in a game. Championship teams show up to play EVERY night. One of them did yesterday, and it wasn't the defending champs.

Actually in an 82 game season, a future, current or past champ can absolutely have a bad performance like yesterdays and pack it in (not that im happy about it)...sorry man, but did you see the cavs lose to the magic by 40? also, maybe look up all the past champions and there worst losses, im pretty sure they all had nights like this, no im positive.
It was a pathetic performance that noone is proud of, but it doesnt mean a thing, it wasnt game 1 of the playoffs, weve already clinched, prove to me otherwise why this game meant anything.
