So I know most of the songs, but there's one I absolutely love and I can't figure out who it's by (might be my age). It starts off with a very kinda soothing guitar riff and then the drums come on really hard. The singers voice sounds very 80s - they played it tonight against the nets when the nets had the chance to tie. Anyone know what it is? (it's not welcome to the jungle or dropkick murphys i already know that much heh).

Hmm, I'm curious about what song your talking about now, so I'm going to bump this up because I dont know the answer.
"Life has so many hurdles. Some of them I've hopped over, and some of them I've tripped over. The key is to get back up and finish the race."

I would think you are talking about Phil Collins "All my Life" which is KG's favortie song that they used to play when KG was about to emerge from the locker room. This season though they had been playing it in the 4th quarter. Im not sure if they have been playing it w/o KG out there though. Anyone have any better guesses?

I'm 100% sure it's not phil collins - I would recognize that voice anywhere. I don't know the lyrics because I couldn't discern them when Mike Gorman was talking - but I have heard this song many times towards the end of close games. Like I said before - it starts with guitar then goes into booming drums.

Its Phil Collins. It really is. But its not called "All my Life", its called "In The Air Tonight".

Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

heh...that song is fantastic but like i said before it's not phil collins. it has a very classic rock feel to it, and there are only so many songs that they play at the end of games...its not phil collins, its not welcome to the jungle, it's not shippin up to boston...so what does that leave? (it's not any ac/dc either)

i tried so hard to listen to the lyrics but they were blurted out by gorman. i can tell you the song was played precisely at the end of the time out when NJ had the ball down 2 with 20 or so seconds to go. the song itself reminds me of a combo of rush and aerosmith but i REALLY REALLY dont want to mislead you guys by saying that...i hope this gets solved soon so everyone can download the song im talking about...hehe
