I thought tonight's game deserved a thread, since it's probably the only remaining game that the Magic can lose, considering who they'll play for the remainder of the season (Grizzlies, Knicks, Nets, Bucks and Bobcats, 3 of these 5 at home).

If Orlando lose tonight and win all the remaining games, it will have one game back behind Boston. And should Boston's lose in Cleveland (though I think our team will win at the Q) and win all the other remaining games, being tied with Orlando the C's will keep the 2nd seed thanks to their division record (which prevails on the Magic's).

The Rockets are tough to beat in Houston (31-8) and they have a dominant big man who can match with Howard, so I think they have pretty good chances of winning the game! Moreover they are trying to get the 3rd seed in the West so they'll be really motivated. Go Rockets! :P

I agree this is a huge game.  This is their shot to lose.  If they are a game behind us it is really 2 because if we tie the 2 seed is ours.  If they lose tonight I don't see us giving up that lead.  Let's go Rockets.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

Pretty mad.  I wanted to watch this game and LP is blacked out and the channel that is supposed to be carrying it locally has poker on it.  So, can't watch.  They did that to me the last time the Celtics played them too.  grrrrr

Rockets up 9 at the half, having pretty much controlled the game up to the point. Yao and co. are doing a pretty good job slowing down Dwight Howard.

Dwight Howard struggles against Yao Ming. Yao is one of the few guys who actually has the size and bulk to bother Howard.

Nice win for Houston, assuming they pull this out.

rockets up 8 with  minute to play...this would really be big for the celtics....a win over the nets tomorrow would put boston up 2 games with 4 to play
