Yeah, I think that's correct, as well. I'm not sure if pre-season basketball counts, though.
So JR, who has played under 8 minutes of NBA basketball and will not be able to chase one of these individual awards next season...

I do believe that's the deal in the NBA (not so in baseball, but I think that's the only major league that works that way)

That was my thinking in mentioning pre-season. Oden only made it through Summer League, I think.
