What a terrible game so far.

yep.
btw, I had no idea UCLA had 11 championships.  most interesting thing for me for the game so far.

They won 7 in a row, thanks to John Wooden getting Lew Alcindor and Bill Walton to dominate the college game back then.

Here is my one sentence update on the MSU-UNC game:

UNC way out in front; whenever MSU looks to cut the lead to a manageable 15, a bad turnover or foul puts the lead back to 20.

Anyone else feel that UNC could steal a couple games from the TWolves (no big al) or the kings? They had like 6 future pros out there: Ellington, Green, Lawson, Psycho T, Ed Davis, and Deon Thompson. Thompson is a ?, but Michigan State only had one pro (most likely) in Raymar Morgan.

No.  UNC may have 5 or 6 NBA-level players, but the Twolves and Kings have 14 or 15.  Also, of the UNC players, how many are going to be legit starters at the next level?  I'm not sure that any of them have all-star potential, other than maybe Ed Davis.  Right now, for instance, nbadraft.net has Lawson as the #18 draft prospect, Ellington at #29, Hansborough at #31, and Green at #52.

Kalin Lucas will be a pro.  He's short, but he's not bad, and he is young (more than 2 years younger than Ty Lawson).

Putting my feelings about the Tarheels into perspective:

Yankees, UNC, Lakers.

In that order.

I don't understand how people are sleeping on Lawson so much.  Maybe it's the slight injury-proneness, but he was the most valuable player on that team, and was extremely clutch all year to boot.  I hope Phoenix gets him with the 14th pick (where they'll probably be).  I think he'll definitely be a starter, and potentially an All-Star later on.  And I've been down on Ellington for awhile, but he really stepped up his game the second half of the year.  He's learning how to move away from the ball and off screens in the Reggie Miller/Rip/Ray Allen mold - if he keeps that up he could be a starter as well.

Ed Davis will be a beast very soon too.

Lawson     Telfair
Ellington  Miller
Green      Carney
Psycho/Thompson     Gomes/love
Ed davis   Jason collins

I think on a college court with college time that UNC could grab at least 2 out of 100 games.

I usually fall on the other side of this argument, but this time I don't know.

And I don't take nbadraft.net that seriously. I think these guys can be rotation players in the league, and Ed Davis could be more.

2 seems just about right.  I hope Hansboro enjoyed school this year, because he lost millions by staying in.
