Pick a Player Over/Under Points Playoffs Brackets

OK, I swear, this will be my last brainstorm on this thing...oh hell, it probably won't be...I can't help myself.

We can run the regular daily picks in the PAPOUPG thread, but for this game we'll need 16 people to sign up - first come first serve.

Once we have 16 people each person will randomly have an NBA team assigned to them.  Your opponent will be the NBA teams playoff opponent. 

Each player may pick ONLY from the team he is assigned to and may only choose a player once per series. 

Player averages will be based on regular season numbers.  You pick for each for until either one person has clinched the series or the NBA series has ended. 

If a player picked has a DNP he will be assigned the lesser of -5 or 5 points worse than the opponents picks.

Whoever is ahead at the end of the NBA series advances.  If there is a tie (which will be possible), we will revert to net points for the series.  If there is still a tie, we will do the averages to extra decimals as necessary.

Each round we will randomly reassign teams to the remaining players.

TP rewards for the winners are optional, but I'm sure they'd be appreciated.

Quick clarification... hypothetical:

Game 1
Redz - LeBron James, Cavs (1): 28.4 / 35, +6.7
Big Ticket - Derrick Rose, Bulls (8 ): 16.6 / 22, +5.4


Is the score 1-0 in favor of Redz (which I think is what you intend based on the "until one person has clinched the series" part) or is it +6.7 to +5.4 in favor of Redz.  Just want to make sure.

Yes, that's correct, the score would be 1-0.  The total point differential for the series will only be used if we need a tiebreaker.

How exactly?  I can see lining up the number that people sign up on here with the order the random generator spits out... but all that does is assign a number.  Is that going to be the "draft" order, the overall playoff seed number for the team you get, or something else?
