USE THIS FOR GAME 6

ChampKind: Atlanta (2-3, -17.5)
Redz: Miami (3-2, -3.2)

Hoyo de Monterrey: Portland (2-3, -1.1)  Joel Pryzbilla, 5.5
RebusRankin: Houston (3-2, -14) Yao Ming: 19.7

Completed Series:

shiggins: Detroit defeats Big Ticket: Cleveland 3-1
wdleehi: Boston defeats  CelticsWhat35: Chicago 4-0
bdm860: Denver defeats johnnyrondo: New Orleans 4-0
Roy Hobbs: Los Angeles defeats silvershamrocker: Utah 4-1
Edgar: Philadelphia defeats Truck Lewis: Orlando 4-1
MattG12: San Antonio defeats Atzar: Dallas 4-1

I know it's after the start of the other games, but mine doesn't start for 20 more minutes... The pick still good?

If so, the hopes and dreams of a full season rest on Joel "The Vanilla Gorilla" Pryzbilla.

Hoyo, by the rules, no, your pick shouldn't count, but that sorta sucks.  If you're opponent is OK with it, I'm ok with it (unless that causes some outrage)

 ;D I understand. It's in Rebus's hands now haha
"Let me call him," Floyd said.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

I'm torn, if I let the pick stand, I lose by -.2 and lose the series. If I don't its a cheap win. Maybe I'll start a poll.

One other point:  the "you have to pick before any games start" rule isn't necessarily as clear here as it was for the regular season game.  I believe -- but I could be wrong here -- that other people have submitted their picks after other games had started.

It makes less sense to be rigid here than in the regular season, because our picks are limited to one game.  Therefore, it doesn't really matter what's happening in the other games.  In the regular season, on the other hand, any of us can pick from any of the games, and an advantage could potentially be gained by waiting on picks.

I should probably bite my tongue, but I hate to see somebody get disqualified on a technicality that didn't give any sort of advantage, and wasn't necessarily clear at the beginning.

That works for me Roy...The playoff schedule is kind of whacky to keep up with...Soo I'm fine with an individual tipoff.'

Really the reason for the rule being in place for the other game is that it might give someone an unfair advantage having some late knowledge somehow.  Here, you're locked into one team, so your choices aren't going to change too much based on an extra hour here or there.

edit - I guess I should have read what you said more thoroughly Roy - as you said pretty much the same

Clash of the Titans tonight, huh?  Zaza has one point and Haslem has two midway through the third quarter.

Yeh, I just checked on that.  I thought about taking a total scrub with a low, low average...but I thought I'd give Udonis a chance.   Looks like this one will go the distance.  I have Beasley to use still.

So, it looks like Game 7 of Hawks/Heat is the same day as Game 1 of Mavs / Nuggets.  Let's hope that the Redz/Champ winner isn't assigned one of those two teams.
