Funny you mentioned it Dark Lord, I actually thought the same thing. They're helping Orlando get that homecourt against us. This way, especially if we're banged up and have to go seven against Orlando, we come into the conf. finals limping against a waiting and rested Cavs team. Telling will be how the Cavs now playout their remaing games. If they win out now, you could defiantley argue, maybe they tossed the Orladno game. Long term playoff strategy...doing what they can to increase their odds. Hlep Orlando get th edge over us but maintaining HCA throughout by then winning out and staying ahead of LAkers...

I like it.

great minds think alike. :D

You honestly believe Cleveland throwing the game is more likely than Orlando beating them badly? Like, really? You're serious?

Cmon now. We all know that players & coaches lie about not caring about playoff seeding. Doc Rivers wants that #2 seed and we all know it.

But to suggest Cavs would throw a game? There are so many logistic errors in your thinking in terms of why the Cavs would even want to do that, when (1) they're trying to get home court against the Lakers, (2) they are something like 3-11 against Orlando past couple years, (3) Lebron can't get so much as a layup off with Dwight in the paint, (4) they'd lost to the Wizards the night before, (5) they're setting franchise records for wins.

All of which is besides the point, because if you think the players and coach would stoop as low as to get together and agree to throw a game, and risk getting caught, you don't know much about the NBA.

And yes, I registered just to ridicule you.

I don't think my post amounts to trolling.
In fact, that's about as likely as the Cavs having thrown the Magic game.

Well, with that admission, I guess you didn't leave the staff much choice, did you?  Banned.

Then you must be admitting the possibility of Cavs throwing that game because by actually admitting you signed up to ridicule someone is pretty much the definition of trolling.

The Cavs did not throw the game against the Magic.  The Magic just played great basketball.  The Cavs were on the 2nd game of a back to back where they partied like idiots the night before the back to back started.

The Cavs couldn't care less who has home court between the Magic and the Celtics

These are some pretty bold accusations... Isn't it far more likely that the Magic just got hot (Rashard Lewis hitting 5-7 from distance, the team shooting 53% from the floor) while Cleveland missed a few, instead of the Cavs giving the Magic any chance of a psychological edge going into the playoffs? If there's a player in the East not named LeBron who can change a game singlehandedly, it's Dwight Howard or Dwayne Wade. Why would you give a player like that any extra confidence when you very well could see him down the line in the playoffs?

Not buying it.

However, I wouldn't have bought someone admitting they're a troll either, so what the hell do I know?

Unless someone out there is a Cavs insider nobody can be sure if they did or they didn't throw the game.

It is kinda hard to believe they would want to embarrass themselves that badly on national TV.

Cleveland's record vs. Orlando 2 seasons ago: 1-2
Cleveland's record vs. Orlando last season:  1-3
Cleveland's record vs. Orlando this season:  1-2

3 wins in 3 years and only by 2, 3 and 7 points. A couple of blowout losses. The Cavs just matchup very, very poorly versus Orlando.

The suggestion that the Cavs would rather face Orlando than Boston in the playoffs seems pretty ridiculous to me.

No team wants to face Orlando if they are knocking down their 3s.  It's just like the Bulls a couple years ago.  Their team is very perimeter focused.  Just wait until they are in a 7 game playoff series and under some serious pressure.  They will cave
