The Cavs are entitled to an egg laying.

It just seems odd that all of a sudden they start doing it esp. since they lost their last game.

If they don't rebound from this game and win their next one, I'd say there is a very good chance we could catch them.

The Magic still have to make up 2 games and we have a better conference record.

I just hope we catch LA. I dont think we will catch Clevage(going out on a limb :P) but I think we have a shot at la. That to me would all but seal the finals when we get there. Dont care about the loss at home to them, we wont get screwed again this time. >:(

Celtics need to win out and Cavs need to lose 3 against other teams (cause if we win out we obviously beat them). I wish they would blow up but I can't see it happening.

Good win for Orlando. I only watched the first half, but the Magic were very impressive in that time.

Cleveland has to be worried about how poorly they play against Orlando, but on the bright side (for Cleveland) the Cavs likely won't have to face them in the playoffs.

I was rooting for Orlando to confort the C's' 2nd seed but I must admit it was real fun to see the Cavaliers getting blown out. Hopefully their skid will continue against the Spurs tomorrow!

Sure, and they layed it in the nations capital and lost to the worst team in the league...and then got down by over 40 to the magic? thats an embarrasment...

The Wizards, ironically, could really wreak some havoc at the end of the season here.

If the Cavs lose to the Spurs tomorrow, that sets up a huge game for them against the Wiz at home on Wed (playing on three days rest from today).

If they knock off the Cavs at home and we beat CLE the following week, that could set up a hugely important final game of the season between us and the Wizards on the 15th.

Who knew the Wiz could be such a potential factor this season? and they actually play both us and the Cavs very tough...

The Magic still have to make up 2 games and we have a better conference record.

The Magic only have to make up one game in the loss column.  That's not hard to do, especially with the injuries the Celtics are playing with, and how the Magic are playing right now.  I'm sure a lot of people pencilled last night's game as a loss for the Magic.  Well not only was it a win, it was a pretty convincing win that will give the team confidence throughout the rest of the season.

I'm happy with the way the Celtics are playing right now, and confident they can hold on to that #2 seed.  But it won't be easy.  They're going to have to win games down the stretch, because the Magic aren't going to lay down.  I don't think 60 wins will get it done.

But let's get something out of the way.  We're not catching the Cavs, and we're not catching the Lakers.  Unless there's a huge upset in the playoffs, the Celtics will in all likelihood start at least one round on the road.

Funny you mentioned it Dark Lord, I actually thought the same thing. They're helping Orlando get that homecourt against us. This way, especially if we're banged up and have to go seven against Orlando, we come into the conf. finals limping against a waiting and rested Cavs team. Telling will be how the Cavs now playout their remaing games. If they win out now, you could defiantley argue, maybe they tossed the Orladno game. Long term playoff strategy...doing what they can to increase their odds. Hlep Orlando get th edge over us but maintaining HCA throughout by then winning out and staying ahead of LAkers...

I like it.
