OK, this years attempt at a healthier diet is going well.
My wife and I are on a 90 day diet plan. Today is day 8. The first 9 days are pretty much a cleansing. We've been eating fruit, veggies, brown rice, and non-fat yogurt - and that's it. Me meats. No dairy products. No white flour or white sugar products (bread, pasta, cookies, etc...).
I'm actually feeling great. A little hungry, but I'm really enjoying an aspect of the diet that I had not anticipated; my brain feels much lighter and sharper. It's an excellent sensation.
Having been doing much organized exercise. Been really, really busy.
Feeling good though. Only dropped a few pounds, but I'm liking how it's working.
Tomorrow we can add in a small portion of meat and cereal (high fiber stuff).
