The cavs currently have only one home loss for the season. Hopefully the celtics can come in and get a win on their last regular season match up, at the same time preserving their all time best home record!

  • So what if we don't win 73 - the ring's the thing
It's weird, in the scheme of things I probably shouldn't care about some team equalling a regular season record. But the idea that this Cleveland team, with one admittedly megastar ballplayer and a bunch of essentially role players would go 40-1 at home and thus equal the regular season home record of the single greatest basketball team that ever walked the face of this earth is really starting to get under my skin.

BTW, that 86 team ended up going 50-1 at home for the entire season, including the playoffs. If the Cavs can equal that, good luck to them, but it would really annoy the hell out of me.

That record will mean nothing if we beat them in the playoffs... ;)

That said, a C's win in Cleveland in some days would be extra sweet!

You're right, 50-1 is the true benchmark.  But in the official NBA record books, they would be right beside the Celtics, which just doesn't seem right.

I just don't want to listen to how the Lakers were the only team to beat them at home.

Added incentive for us to beat them.
