In fairness...  we've dropped two games to Charlotte, too.  I'm sure LA has mentally relaxed a bit because they've wrapped up the West's #1 seed.  I'd love to see this be foreshadowing of how they'll perform in the playoffs, but I don't see it happening.

we've already lost twice to the bobcats this season? I remember once, and once last year and a couple close games we pulled out as well...are you already counting tonights game as a loss?

Seems like the Bobcats have the Lakers number, they have beat them the last 6 out 7games played...Imagine the Bobcats being the 8th seed in the west.

Yeah, you're correct.  I misremembered from when I was compiling the list of games we lost due to injury the other day.

Our losses:
Magic (2)
Lakers (2)
Pacers
Nuggets
Warriors
Blazers
Knicks
Bobcats
Rockets
Cavaliers
Spurs
Jazz
Clippers
Pistons
Heat
Bucks
Bulls

So, we've lost to some poor teams (and some good ones), but only once to the Bobcats.  The point remains, though:  losing to poor teams doesn't doom your championship chances.

the bobcats winning last night was the best thing that could happen for the c's...1. boston has to look at them more serious now 2. it is a the second night of a back to back with travel to boston 3. i really cant see them beating boston and LA in back to back games.i think the C's win tonight

  • Let's Go Celtics
The Lakers have already clinched a 1 seed in the west and are out of the race for home court in the Finals against the Cavs.  The way they play for the last two weeks of the season has absolutely nothing to do with what they're going to bring in the playoffs.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

The Bobcats for some reason do well against the Lakers and Celtics.  This Laker loss to the 'Cats isn't that surprising, the bobcats have taken 6 out of 7 against the lakers.

I love the Bobcats.  I'm not a fan of their recent trades, but Gerald Wallace is still quite possibly my favorite non-celtic.  For some reason this team just has the ability to take over at times.  Great win for Charlotte.

Now this is how to be confident, people.  However, I do not like semi-props to the Fakers.   ;)

Come on, you know the Lakers fear the Bobcats. I hear Kobe is going around saying he hopes somebody knocks them out for the Lakers.  ;)

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."
