the jsaad thread had me wondering what other bloggers' wedding songs are. mine is "a whole new world".

i wanted the darth vader theme, but the misses wasnt having it, lol.  she puts up with alot of my star wars geekiness, but was the adult voice of reason with that call, lol.

You know I kinda pride myself on my dorky cheesy charm, and one thing that I know will always cheer up my lady is singing A Whole New World. I mean really, as long as its not ME she's mad at, all I gotta get out is "I can show you the world..."

Not to be confused with "My Best Friend's Girl"...

We *almost* did They Might Be Giants' "She's an Angel," but backed off because we couldn't figure out how to dance to it.

Our leaving the church song was: When I'm Sixty Four by the Beatles (played by a string quartet)

Our first dance song was one that I bet none of you know: Darling by Bambi Lee Savage.
Call me a sap, but I love my kids more than anything!

Our first dance was to 'You Send Me' by Sam Cooke.

The wedding was in 1989 -- but, I'm not an 80's guy.
