awful D-late, great game
We had Pierce playing the 4. I think we actually played very good defense. Pierce didn't show on a few screens and lazily called switch. But other than that I don't have too many complaints about the D in the overtimes.

The rebounding sucked but that is what happens when you go small.

What was he playing the 4? Is Baby hurt?
Baby was doing a poor job on Boris Diaw and we were down. The offensive had stagnated so they put in all shooters and went small. It worked beautifully on the offensive end. Rondo used the space to get some layups and create for others.

The Bobcats did use the mismatch to get several baskets though.

crunch time small ball lineup won us the game.
It almost cost us the game too. The first OT could have been easily lost due to the offensive boards we gave up.

It worked out though. I'm glad we won't be seeing the Bobcats in the playoffs.

so we would have been in better shape with Mikki Moore in there for his rebounding? or maybe we should do offense/defense subs and waste our TO's. If a lineup gets you back into the game you need to ride them. Plus all the outside shooting is what allowed Rondo's offense to flourish.

No he is not. I was referring to bell's wide open 3 in 2nd OT. Glad he missed it

RRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!
Come on get a STOP. I need to start my homework!!!

LOL. You're so much stronger than I. I have to force myself to stay in the library until I'm done on game nights because I can't get any work done after the game.
Honestly we get two "scratch" assignments. I have to work at 6:30 CST and then go to class. This homework isn't getting done!

TP for your discipline though!

Good luck with the homework. Yeah the Celtics are making grad school extremely hard for me but I love it anyway.

True. But he made a very tough shot to get them the lead just a few seconds before. Make or miss league!

Baby had been pretty poor all game.  Eddie had been super hot and playing with the most energy on the team.  Had to go with that lineup.

Double OT! What happened?! It must have been exciting.

You didn't miss it did you?  Ray got a three and put us up by two, Bell finally missed at the buzzer.

I missed it all :( Just got home but I think I'm going to stay up and watch it. Should I watch the whole thing or just stick to the OTs?

I would watch the end of the fourth too.  It's frustrating, but it's part of the magic of this game.  And thanks for the tip on League Pass, thanks to you I DID get to watch!

No problem. I'm glad you got to watch a great game :-)

Another Pierce assist to Ray for the game winner. Love it.

Wait Orlando lost to Toronto at home? What is going on with the Raptors? I thought they'd be in serious tank mode by now but it seems they've won every game they've played recently.

They played hack a Howard and it worked. This contained much of what Orlando wanted to do.

He had 21 free throw attempts and only made ten.
