Zero.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

0.0%
0.0005%

Which is the chance that Tim Duncan, LBJ, Kobe, Deron Williams, and Dwight Howard all have equally serious injuries.

0%??? Really???? Have all of you forgotten???

Defensive team of the year, 2008 NBA World Champs, best team in the league...

What ever happened to Celtic Pride???

And have all of you forgotten the smashing of the Cavs at home WITHOUT KG? I don't even think they got a lead on us in that game. Sure, KG definitely makes a HUGE impact on our team, but we still have Rondo, RayRay, and The Truth. If you guys really doubt the Celtics and believe that they have a 0% chance of getting a championship without KG, you really have forgotten where we were and are at this current point in time. I understand that we're gonna have to fight for Banner 18, especially with the piling injuries, but you guys have really got to have faith in this Celtics team.

Alas, I leave you with a few encouraging quotes:
"Never underestimate the heart of a champion."
"Anything is possible...ANYTHING IS POSSIBLEEEEE."

Yeh, and we couldn't win worth a [dang] in Atlanta last year with KG.  Tonight, no KG, no problem.

Celts all the way with no KG.

It's Scal we need back!

Quote
i know '87 was rough, but this season has been worse and more frustrating

McHale's ankle was taped up and swollen before the playoffs in '87. He was essentially playing on a partially fractured ankle which shortened his career by three years. KG, in contrast, is playing on a mild knee sprain... big difference. A few cortisone shots can get him through road games against the Cavs and Lakers.

The '87 Celtics had no bench; I repeat, no bench. The starting five carried the squad in each and every game. This '09 team, in contrast, has a full bench, in both the back and the front courts with guards (House/Starbury) and frontmen (Powe/BBD/Scals/TA), that's much more than what Bird, DJ, McHale, Ainge, and Parish had as a supporting cast. In fact, give the 80s squad our bench and they would have won in '85, '87, and '88, five in row.

I will put the odds of us winning a title without KG as even with the odds that I ever grow to love the Lakers. In other words,  a snowballs chance. Sorry, but its true. I can sugarcoat it for you if you like but then it would only be one of those pink snowball cupcakes chance and thats not much better.

Hey, If the Fakers can make the finals without JabBynum  ;) Then there is no reason for us to reach the finals without KG....Big odds, but definitely doable...There is always a saying that the ball is round, anything can happen, A lot of weird stuff has happened in Basketball...The Sonics knocked out by the Nuggets, Mavs knocked out by the Warriors a couple of yrs ago..and an undermanned Knicks team as an 8th seed team reachin the Finals in 99,ofcourse who can forget the 6th seed Rockets winning it all in their quest for back to back....so Yeah, there is still hope for the C's even without KG.

I'm pretty sure we could break both KG's legs off and he would still drag himself onto the court for a playoff game. However, if we did happen to win a championship with him not playing, I'm gonna be p---ed off about the Al Jefferson trade.

What's that? Slim left? You sure?....

Okay Slim left but None still wants to comment on the C's chances.

If Leon comes back, about the same as Orlando's chances.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
It depends... What are the chances that the Lakers lose Kobe, The Cavs lose Lebron, The Spurs lose Duncan, and The Magic lose Howard all at the same time?

  • It is time for 18
About the same as Cindy Crawford meeting me for drinks and
dinner tonight.

Pierce is the captain of this team, Ray is the shooter of this team but KG is the heart of our defense and team. Remove him and this team isnt the same.
