I'm really not feeling this trend of "Give it to Pierce and he'll do whatever he wants" offense that seems to be manifesting itself on this team in the final 4 minutes of every close game the Celtics have. There's just too, too, too much talent on the floor to be going to that pre-Big Three offense crap every game with 4 minutes or less on the clock.

Nice win. No one got injured. Pierce and Ray stayed under 40 minutes. Good game by all.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

Great game from Ray Allen.  Clutch.  Some nice rebounding from BBD.  Horrible officiating.  Why can I watch 3-4 NCAA games and never have a major quarrel with the officiating, while there is a bad call every 2 minutes in the NBA.  It's just HORRIBLE.  In particular, foul #5 on Perkins was a joke.

And Marbury was actually useful.  I didn't like his shot selection in the first half, but they went in.

TP, I agree as long as the ball stays in the hands of either Pierce or Ray anybody else NO. Doc just trusts Pierce, but now he finally realizes what he has in RAY RAY BABY!

NBA is a corrupt business. Stern has/is doing some shady stuff behind the scene. You can just tell in the 4th Q, we had 4 straight fouls on us just to keep the game close & entertaining for the fans

I don't like any of the Hawks. They like to complain a lot about any foul called on them. It's kinda ridiculous.

So does Pierce. I'm a fan, but he didn't deserve that first set of free throws in the last two minutes. Sometimes he tends to throw himself towards chances of being fouled.

Anyway, good game overall. I was surprised at the Hawks' performance. They totally stalled for most of the game until the last minutes of the fourth quarter. I was thinking there might even be overtime.

I agree, but it all depends on the game. I know why they do it late in the game much of the time, they like Pierce better creating off the dribble. He's better at getting to the line than Ray and a harder guard.

But they should make sure Ray is involved. Just going by the box score it looks like he was this game, balanced game for all the Cs it seems.

BBD was amazing in the first half. Ray is once again clutch. Surprise, Surprise!

House was huge. As was Marbury.

10 Rebounds by Mikki! Way to play big guy. Not amazing defense 1-1, but 10 defensive boards is defense enough.

Perk got worked by Matt Boland. That guy is a tool. That play that he hit Perk with the foul when Zaza got him in the eye was ridiculous. You could tell by the look on his face that he had no clue what to call and just bent Perk over...

You just can't let them cut it that close with a 20 point lead that late. Doc can't be happy. That must feel as close to a loss to him as you can get without losing.

Not yet. He has be more consistent. Its nice to see that he went to the inside game as he was off with the jumper tonight, 2-7.

Good? Samantics I say. 43 minutes with only one questionable moving pick which is part due to the gaurd. Good hard fouls taking the charge, make 'em think twice about the drives. Highly intellegent BB and a big body who hustles 43min.
Of course he still has room to improve, but he gets my stamp of approval for being a "Good" NBA player, for one.
I accept your opinion of the deffinition, otherwise!
