Thing is, Sterling is the Anti-Dolan.  Be interesting to see how Isiah screws up the Clips (even worse than they already are) when ownership won't let him spend any money!

Good point the.Bird. It might just work. If Isiah can only draft, he might just help the Clips (Mighty Mouse, Camby, McGrady, Lee, Robinson, Balkman). Isiah is not a bad drafter.

When you have the worst franchise in the NBA, you need the worst GM.

What's next season's slogan going to be: The L.A. Clippers, committed to mediocrity.

Mediocrity would be a step in the right direction.

I hope Isiah becomes the Clippers GM real soon because I could see a Tony Allen for Eric Gordon trade in his future this summer if he does take over the Clips.

Are you sure they are not bringing in Isiah to run the point? Sterling will finally make a big signing by bringing back Isiah to play.

This would be unbelievable if it was any team BUT the Clippers.

One month or so ago, NBA biggest problem was the fiscal irresponsibility of so many owners that lead to a business model that isn't sustainable.

A couple of weeks later, Sterling is once again the worst owner of the league because he's "cheap".

You think things can't get worse, but they can.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

I smell a reality TV show coming. There can be no other explanation.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

Little Lord Fauntleroy GM the Clippers - That would be a hoot.

I can see them trotting out a team of Marbury, Rasheed, the Question Mark, Fatione, and Blonut next year. The Bench Scrubs would be Vin Baker, Oliver Miller, Todd Day, Greg Minor, and Allan Houston.
Wins are few, times are hard. Here is your bleeping St Patricks Day Card.

This sounds like one of those hypothetical pop-culture scenarios that shows up in every Bill Simmons mailbag ever. Seriously. Check it out.

Mike from Cincinnati:

So I Was bumming around at college and reading your stuff instead of studying for my finals, and as I lit up my fatty, I had an epiphany: Isiah Thomas should manage the Clippers!

Simmons: I love it. Its just like [movie], except [actor] and [unrelated pop culture figure] are managing a basketball team instead of holding hands. Yup, [toothy grin], these are my readers! [counts money].
