I couldn't think of a synonym apprporiate enough to use on this blog, so I just left it blank, but it seems like Van Gundy has been whining after every single game of late, win or lose.
Quote
I want to know how some teams get on the list, where they get excuses and other teams are not on that list. All I've been hearing about is all the injury problems the Celtics have had this year," Van Gundy said.

Before I just thought of the 2nd round series against the Magic as a slight detour on the way to the ECF, but now I'm going to thoroughly enjoy the whooping the Celtics hand them.  That is, if they get by their first round opponent, which if the playoffs started today would be the Pistons, who they haven't beaten yet all season.

Well, that sounds like a Tommy Heinson comment, doesn't it?

TH is a color commentator, SVG is reportedly a head coach of an elite team who WON THIS GAME.

im with the OP, his playing of the "we gets no respect i tells ya!" card has gotten out of hand. First it was shaq flops, then it was bosh is the ref's favroite and no one respects his team. blah, blah blah.

I'm tired of his antics, hes liek a fat beaver chattering away every 2 seconds. I lost all respect for him when he called shaq unprofesinal for addresing his comments. WHile i thought shaq went to far, you called him out in a press confreance and implied he was a soft player stan, if your going to do that, grow a set and take the backlash. don't come whining to me about how mean shaq was to you like your an innocent victim.

I hope SVG ends up in an old knick's style playoff brawl like the one his brother got stuck in and DHoward accidentally clotheslines him

He seems to be taking the Phil Jackson approach of opening his mouth and offering stupid, smarmy opinions that the media jumps all over because the media loves a feud.

Well, just  like lil' Phil, anyone that knows basketball also knows that you can ignore him.  Shaq's comments about him, classless and lame as they were, make me happier day by day.

And let's not forget the ever popular "the people of New York and the Knicks never liked or appreciated my good buddy Patrick Ewing". Something Knicks fans and Celtics fans can finally agree on....Stan the Van Gundy is a whining, sniveling, dirtbag with a serious inferiority complex.

Ron Jeremy sucks (Did I say that?).

He is rubbing off on his team (Again, did I say that?).  Dwight Howard's "That's two" crap after a regular ol' hard foul from Bill Walker was so sissy.  Are we supposed to just let him have his own dunk contest out there?

Clearly this is frustrating because Doc is sticking to his guns about KG's playing time and the fact that Marbury is so horrible right now we can't even play him in the second half.  However, I know that our guys know we have the Magic's number under normal circumstances.  Us fans just have to wait a little over a month to see what the C's already know.

At least R.J. seems like a nice guy.
No, really, I mean that.

No, really, I mean that.
This begs the question, "Did I just insult Ron Jeremy by comparing him to Stan Van Gundy?"   ;D

Can't wait to see what SVG's comments will be after his team has been eliminated by the Pistons or the Celtics. :)

Ron will forgive you.
SVG, though, will probably go
out in the media and call you out  ;)

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
They get on the list by winning championships Stan!

I don't know what type of prize he's expecting for barely sqweaking by a shorthanded Celtics team twice.
