Are the Bryants really this unpleasant, or is this just another golddigger?  It makes great Internet fodder, I must say.

Meh. Wouldn't surprise me if she was a golddigger.

Then the opposite could be true, too. Kobe never comes off as a nice, laid back kind of guy. Unless he's posing with his kids for the camera, of course.

My totally guess is that there's some truth to this story, *and* she's a gold digger.

Why do I think there's truth to it?  First, because I believe that anybody who would marry a scumbag like Kobe, and stick with him after cheating because he bought her a huge diamond, probably isn't a great person herself.  Second, the housekeeper quit.  If things were all hunky-doory there, there's no way she's walking out on the Bryants.

That being said, it looks like she's seeking a pay day.

Probably a little from Column A, a little from Column B here.  My understanding is that sports wives are often the ones you have to watch out for, though.  We'll see how much she's got to back this up as it develops.
