Cavs win streak

While the Cavs win streak has been impressive its got me thinking are they heading towards a slump of their own just like the Celtics.  It would be real nice to see it happen right at the end of the season with the Celtics creeping up on the Cavs and making that last game against them crucial.  Not saying that it is likely they pitfall end of the season but it sure would be nice.  Best case scenario...the pitfall comes in round 1 of the playoffs and they get ousted by an 8 seed.  Now that would be just splendid.

Nice thought, but I don't subscribe to the hypothetical dream idea of catching them.  Our injuries have pretty much made that out of reach.  However, if they were to lose 2 or 3 that they shouldn't and we really ended the season playing hot, it could really add to the mind voodoo we already have over them.

Larry Bird always said that he thought it was crucial to end the regular season on a roll to help get you going into the playoffs.  I agree with the legend on that one.

TP for the thread(good thoughts)...i haven't been that impressed with the cavs on the road this season.Their record shows a much better picture than they are(imo).They won some games that could have gone either way due to bad officiating.They haven't showed me that they are a great road team yet.They barely beat subpar teams on the road all season...a focused 8th seed Bulls team could give them some problems on the road...but the biggest task for any seed would be beating the cavs on their own turf.

^ Which the Blazers attempted to do and ALMOST ALMOST managed to succeed in. Just think about it; if we killed the Fakers in the Finals last year by 39-points, and the Lakers swept the Cavs this year, whose to say we won't kill the Cavs on their own turf? Just give that a thought, guys.

Their win streak has stretched since we last beat them....its weird how that game effected both teams...it made the cavs focus more and make everything a must-win..well it almost worked the complete opposite for the celtics, they let their guard down after that game and lost to the bucks and bulls and had no sense of urgency...honestly, if we lost that game, we probably win both aforementioned games, and maybe the cavs lose that miami game the night after etc.

I was at the Chicago game, we lost because we only had two healthy big men in the second half, one of whom fouled out early in the fourth. Another large body to rebound and we'd have won.

I live just about two and a half hours away.  I have a tire iron.  Lebron James has a knee.  Do I have to draw you a picture?
