KG might have looked rusty at the start and only played 15 minutes and had 10 points BUT Kevin Garnett changed the celtics mindset.  I don't think the team has been flat since KG left, I feel they did a great job playing through more injuries than most teams could handle.  But the intesity level changed and KG flowed with the game allowing Pierce & Rondo to continue their fine play.  KG was barking from the bench like a coach/cheerleader whenever he was not playing.  On more than one occassion KG was getting Davis & Moore to play at another level.  The most impressive "hidden" stat of the night for me is Mikki Moore's line: 20 minutes, 8 rebounds (2 off) and ONE FOUL.  Moore hustled when he was out there and if he can give us this sort of time and not be "the pesky pole"  ;D things will look good for us.
Garnetts impact cannot be measured in points and rebounds.    If we can get everyone healthy  ::)

Its great to have KG back, but I dont think hes a whole lot more important then the other guys on this team...theyre all very important in their own right...yes hes more energetic, psycho and exuberant and everyone feeds off of that, but Id say its a toss up between he and Pierce for most important player to the celtics..
I know things have been rough for the celtics lately with KGS abscense, but truthfully its not just KG who has been out, its been KG, and the people that would fill in for KGs production, Pierce hasnt missed a game yet this season, barely missed one last season and has carried this team in KGS abscencse both years to a respetable record..night in night out...so we have no idea how it would be without the the truth for a month, and I dont think we want to know either

KGs prescense is all it takes to make people around him better (sometimes even opposing players) which begs to ask the question...why the hell is he not around when hes out and injured for a month? all this team needed was a little KG enthusiasm from the bench

I loved how when he was on the bench at the end of the game he was cheering. He said himself he was the best cheerleader in the game.

I think the C's have their mojo back.

KG is the perfect player to fill in the gaps.  He's not a player who really dominates or takes over games but he is the ulimate glue guy.  He is good at everything, takes what the defense gives him, and provides what the team needs at any given time.  He really reminds me of a Scottie Pippen in his prime in these regards.  It's great to have him back.  He is going to make things seem a little easier for all the other Celtics.

why the hell is he not around when hes out

Because he won't be sitting around for whole games; he'll try to put on a jersey and jump in.

Uhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

I would say he means everthing to this team and his impact will be felt long after he hangs up green sneakers. The confidence he has given to players like Rondo, Powe, BBD, and Perkins cannot be measured by us Celtics fans or the mindless media.

Lemme ask you this, are we defending champions with Perkins, Jefferson, Durant, Pierce and Rondo with Powe, BBD, TA, Szcerbiak, and Delonte West coming off the bench? Mind you, I think we would pretty good with that bunch but I guess that we would be able to win a championship yet.
Wins are few, times are hard. Here is your bleeping St Patricks Day Card.

I don't know if there is any way to quantify his impact.  These last two games, we've looked like a completely different team with him back.  BBD has been helping too...THE STUB.
