  • Doc could learn a thing or two from Norman Dale
Quote
Rajon Rondo re-sprained his right ankle and played anyway, making him at least uncertain for tonight’s game against Miami. And Ray Allen is in the same boat after hyper-extending his right elbow late in the game.

“We may be down to one or two guys for tomorrow’s game probably,” coach Doc Rivers said. “I was really proud of our guys. I thought they fought their butts off. It was great. Honestly when you’re down to one big and he’s dying on the floor and you have to take him out. You have five smalls, a makeshift lineup. I was really proud. I was really happy with our guys.”

Quote
. . . Powe [got] hurt less than four minutes into the game. He tried to play later in the period, but he couldn’t move laterally.

“It’s just stiff,” Powe said. “They say it’s a deep bruise right now. We’ll check it out further (today). I don’t know (about playing tonight). It’s feeling real bad, but I can’t call it right now.”

Rondo, who injured the same ankle March 6 and missed the next two games, stepped on Kendrick Perkins in the third quarter.

“I don’t know,” he said regarding tonight. “I played through it, but I don’t know how it’s going to be.”

Allen got his elbow caught in a screen and, as far as tonight goes, “It’s all predicated on how I feel when I get up in the morning,” he said.

The most frustrating part is, if we're
all healthy, we have a huge shot at #18.
If it's like this, bye bye repeat  ???  :'(

This team must be cursed, I can't see any other explanation...

I hope Rondo, Ray and Powe's injuries won't get too severe and that they get some rest. The game against Miami tonight is already a loss... :-\

Told you the Celtics miss Lucky.  3 injures on St. Pat's Day? That's not luck! >:(

looks like another loss tonight on national television. this season officially sucks because of the injuries...

my prediction tonight:

no rondo or powe
mikki moore starts and gets 4 fouls before the second quarter
D wade has 30 plus
boston has no answer inside for o neal.

just take the 3 seed and start sitting folks.

Come on guys, buck up.  We've seen a lot of this before, and the Celts always find a way.  I trust in the team too much to lower my expectations from them.  KG and Big Baby are coming back soon, Scal might as well.

The team chemistry has been disrupted with this injury crisis, so of course you're going to get bad results.  Its not so much KG's absence, but the hole he left in his place that Doc has been trying to patch with various players.  It cant be done overnight.

We'll be alright sooner or later.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I can't wait to get Scalabrine back.

I've officially jumped of the Starbury/Moore bandwagon. These two truly suck. Neither one of these guys could cover my grandmother.

Tough situation in that Doc is forced to play these guys with all of our injuries.

marbury looks alright to me, just needs his shot back.

Moore I agree with, he fouls to much, and needlesly.

If I've said it once I've said it a thousand times since his name came up first:

MIKKI MOORE = BUM

I'll root for him and wish him the best while he's wearing the green, but the guy's a bum (as a player).  A for effort, but lacking in the skills department.
Yup

he's just dumb to, he's like perk on speed when it comes to fouling.

At least perk has regined himself in a bit since he was a foul-o-matic when he came into the league, Mikki just jumps into guys at full speed then acts suprised when the ref's call it.
