Let's say we go 2-1 in the next three, then KG comes back for Memphis. Would it be so crazy for them to win 12 in a row?

This is the schedule from Memphis on.

@ Grizzlies
vs Clippers
@ Magic (for the tie breaker, this team sucks)
@ Hawks
vs Thunder
vs Bobcats
vs Hawks
vs Nets
vs Miami
@ Cleveland (for the tie breaker, we beat them WITHOUT KG)
@ 76ers
vs Wizards

i don't think its crazy, and this would make us 64-18

Too be honest I'm expecting some type of crazy run to end the season.

I think we'll lose maybe 2 more games, max 3.

Even if this does happen I'm not sure we finish ahead of cleveland in the standings.

i agree about losing 2 max 3, but im 95% sure that those 2 or 3 won't include Cleveland and Orlando.

In my opinion, there are several reasons why we won't win 12 in a row:

1) The guys that have been healthy simply haven't been playing well enough lately.
2) Usually there's an adjustment period when such a marquee player returns to the lineup, never mind when he's coming back to a different team than he left (additions of Steph and Mikki).
3) It will be tough to beat ATL twice, Orlando, and Cleveland, with 3 of those 4 games being played on the road.
4) No matter the sport, the league, or the opponents, it is very tough to win 12 games in a row.
5) If the first 4 reasons aren't good enough for you, keep in mind that the Celtics will be more concerned with entering the playoffs rested and healthy than winning games.

I would say I'm 65% sure that we won't lose to either, and 100% sure we won't lose to either Cleveland or Orland. Cleveland, Orlando, and Atlanta are the only teams that I feel can take us. I don't see this team dropping the ball when playing the lesser teams. Atleast not when the games are becoming so much more important.

I don't think its crazy at all. This team can do some amazing things when they set their mind to it and another double digit win streak is something they're very capable of.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

  • There can only be one.
^ Word, they've pulled it off many times before, why not again to finish off the season?  8)
