Anyone have stats on which team leads the league in defensive 3 second violations?

  • Basketball is like chess, only without the dice
Tyrus Thomas just opted for a 10 ft fadeway jumper while being guarded by... 6'1 Rondo.

Does anyone think Powe's injury may be serious?

need to stop fouling.....good news...pierce has arrived

The one downside to this is that you just know Doc's game plan for the 2nd half revolves around Pierce playing the entire time.  The result will be a tired Pierce who can't shoot or defend late in the 4th quarter.

he has no other option tonight....running out of bigs and they need a win...picking up a full game on orlando tonight would be big

salmons is like bonzi wells or reuben patternson. Can't really make their team better but will give you quick points when you need em. Know how to score

Hmm...  I don't really like the comparison.  Salmons is a good player, who hasn't been in good situations.  Patterson and Wells are locker room cancers (and Patterson is, of course, a convicted rapist.)

He does have options.  He could play Walker and Giddens some.  The Celtics have 2 back-to-backs this week.  The danger is that the Cs lose a close one, while completely tiring out PP for tomorrow's game against Miami...

Way to close it up. The good guys can come out and establish themselves in the third, do it, and put this team away.

I like him and think hes a good player, but I dont think hes as good as his numbers might lead you to believe.  Still none the less, it shows you what kind of talent was in Philly while AI was dominating the ball so much.

Good D in the second quarter, and Pierce looked alive there at the end. How about a blowout in the third and get some rest in the fourth.

Stop complaining about Ray and Pauls' minutes. Neither can now play over 40 minutes for the night and Doc is being forced to play Mikki Moore for 20 minutes IN THE FIRST HALF and they are winning. Moore has played more minutes than either Ray or Paul thus far.

I'm proud of this team. They are surprising the heck out of me. Neither of their stars are playing great, they have not one PF they can play, Moore is playing big minutes, they have been to the FT line 14 times less than the home team and yet they lead the game.

So, so, so many professional teams that had the injuries that this team has would roll over and die. Not our Celtics. Win or lose, I am so proud of the way this team has responded to this adversity taht I'm nearly popping with pride, like they were my own kids.

WTG guys!!!!

i agree about the minutes. everyone is tired...even lebron...and his team is healthy...but they need to close this one out tonight. pierce sat until the 5 minute mark in the 2nd quarter so he has gotten a bit of rest tonight
