This sentence needed to end at "Talk".

So do I.  He doesn't know much about basketball, but at least he admits it, doesn't pretend to know more than he does (cough, Donny) and defers to those who do know.  And he tells it like it is too.
"If somebody would have told you when he was playing with the Knicks that Nate Robinson was going to change a big time game and he was going to do it mostly because of his defense, somebody would have got slapped."  Mark Jackson

I don't think he's so bad. At least he can laugh at himself sometimes, unlike so many of the other blowhards.
Yeah, he can be annoying and overly negative, and bball isn't his specialty, but I don't mind him.

Some of his terminolgy cracks me up.  If someone has a bad game he calls it a "poop sandwich".  And he's always talking about "peeing in the pool" when it comes to contract negotiations.  He doesn't have all that much Celtics insight but he amuzes me.  He seems to make fun of JD Drew at least once a week.

agreed, doesn't know ANYTHING about basketball.

but i stopped getting upset about Felger when i realized his "character" is a villian, he's there to say what the home fans don't wanna here, he's there to argue the points that we all know are true.

yesterday he said that Mike Lowell, Jon Lester, Dustin Pedroia, and Daisuke Matsuzaka would have "not as good" years this year.

Donny said the team was off to a good start offensively (which they were) then Felger argues "there down by 6 to one of the worst teams in the league, how could they be off to a good start?!"

he's an ass.

I gotta agree with him on Lowell, Lester, and Pedroia but not Dice-K.  I wouldn't be surprised if Lester and Pedroia had great years again, but maybe not SO great.  It would be unreasonable to expect another season like that from Pedroia.
