Someone is going to need to have a break out game tonight if we want to win. Out of Moore/Powe/Walker/Pruitt/House/Giddens/Marbury,  one of them should at least light up Miami for 20+.
News flash.
It won't be giddens or walker.
I have a hard time seeing doc playing them extensively.
Practice? Whatchu talkin about practice?

Thank you, although...
I don't plan to win tonight.
its more, if it happens, i'll be the happiest person in the world.
With so many people down, in the ideal world, it would be walker's time to show what he can do.
In reality it probably won't happen, but i'm hoping.

The problem with Marbury is that he has rusted all the way through.

Be prepared to be down by double digits when House or Pruitt comes into the game.

Absolutely, start him.
After four or five more games, if he sucks as bad as he has so far, stop using him at all.
Simple.

Yes, but by then home court advantage will have been irretrievably lost.

I do believe this game against the Heat is the perfect game to play our younger players.

I would not be apt to playing Walker/Pruit big minutes against Cleveland or the Lakers, but the Heat are filled with young players too so I'd like to see where our young guys stand against them.

Fine by me, but then yo'd be starting Pruitt instead of Marbury.  By George I think you've got it!

Correct, but I'm making two assumptions.
1) Homecourt may not be realistic at this point.
2) Marbury will NOT help, but if he plays now and stinks the joint out, maybe Doc and Danny will see that D'Antoni knew what he was doing.

I despise Stephon ME-bury and not because that he sux but because he is wearing the Jersey number of someone who is the ANTI-THESIS of him.   Yeah...Stephon has more talent(obviously) but he's a piece of crap, IMO.

And I still don't believe that Stephon could've just - out of the blue...err, green - picked *THAT* number without some "influence" (*cough*Ainge*cough*).   Somewhere out there, Toine is rooting for Starbury to fail and it looks like it's happening.

EDIT :  by the way, sorry for bumping up this thread but when I saw the mention on Stephon, I had to input my two cents....and 3 quarters to it.

I know everyone in this thread is biased as heck, but you really think 6 assists, 4 points and 3 steals with no TO's is bad for 15 minutes last night huh?

you people are on pluto. If gabe or JR did that in 15 minutes, you would all have a joygasm.

he is a backup PG, if he gives us 5-6 assists a night, as he has been doing since friday, im very ok with him getting the 10-15 minutes a game backing up rondo he is currently getting.

i wonder if eddie feels the same way about the 3 wide open three's he got off steph last night, of which he nailed 2.

or rondo getting a nice assist on the break. or paul getting 2 easy baskets.

I'm sure they hate that he's on the team just as irrationaly as you guys  ::)
