no one knows, and no one will until their last game is played this season. they've played like 3, 4 games as celtics respectively. when the season is over, we'll understand their constributions. until then, we won't.

Why does anyone care about how they fit in the locker room? Are you all a bunch of behavior counselors all of a sudden?

When 25% of NBA players recently said that Starbury was the player they least wanted to play with out of any player in the entire NBA, I think it's valid to be worried about potential chemistry issues.  So far, so good, but we're not through the season yet.

Where did the above statement come from?  I didn't see any national survey taken by nba players on who they least want to play with.  Did you? Link?

no zach randolph?

NBA palyers must enjoy watching 34 foot threes with 20 seconds left in the shot clock alot more than i thought.

and no Mark blount? although he probley slides under the radar, players may not be aware he's still in the NBA with his effort level.

I was surprised that Tmac made the list; I didn't know he had the perception as a bad teammate.  I guess it's because he's somebody you can't rely upon.  I wonder if Yao voted for him. ;)

That is the only reason that sounds logical.

It would be frustrating to have a guy who ties up 1/3 of the teams payroll, takes 1/3 of the shots when he is in the game, and is the annual excuse why your team doesnt do well while he is out with his yearly injury.

Wouldnt matter much if he was a nice guy after a few seasons, would it? ;D

Dwayne Wade certainly wasn't one that doesn't want to play with Marbury.  He and Riley fought hard to get Stephon in Miami, but he wanted to play for a winner.

Quote
Upon receiving a buyout from the Knicks, Stephon Marbury received an aggressive sales pitch from Dwyane Wade and Pat Riley to sign with the Miami Heat.

"I just felt like that the direction I wanted to go in, winning a championship was important," Marbury said. "I knew that there was an interest for a while [in Miami]. It wasn't something that came about at the last minute when there was talks about me getting out of my deal. Before I was able to get out of my deal, they were interested."

"We've always had a relationship," said Wade. "I wasn't playing GM. We talked about a lot of different things. Of course, we all knew that Boston was a strong thing."

Said Marbury, "We spoke. I told him it was more about business than anything. That was really it. We spoke about the possibility of coming [to Miami]."

Looks like if Boston doesn't re-sign him, he might have a place in Miami with Wade.
