WW had proposed this to me last thursday so well before this glitch was discovered.  And the only reason we are trying to push it through is so that i can drop landry fields instead of one of my own players, to pick up player x for WW. 

this is all being done in good faith, I promise.  No sneaky intentions

If that's the case -- and in some ways good thinking on WW's part, wish I'd thought of it -- it should have been executed in time to work... not ask for a special dispensation after the fact.

Thanks for the quick feedback. Since you, Roy and MK object we should probably just let it shake out as is. (And I'm all in favor of being "too competitive," I objected to YH's pick up James Johnson after all.)

Although just to clarify a couple of points as I know the trade is needlessly complicated. Never my intention to take advantage of the current messy situation. In fact we've been in discussions since Friday. Current situation with players passing through waivers two days early actually threw a wrench into my plans.

And obviously if it was possible to deal a future pick for a player through Yahoo none of this would be necessary.

Now just to clarify waivers are set to process when at this point?

I know you and WW to be above-the-board folks, so i hope i didn't overstate my point.... TPs to both y'all.

but I agree with MK, there's an inherent risk in doing a deal like this so i'd say you have to assume that risk and i'd personally vote against fast-tracking the deal.

one other thing is Lucky has enough on his plate with the Waiver Wire situation that I'd suggest --- just in the spirit of UBUNTU -- not adding anythign else to it for him

Not at all, GC. I get it. I have asked the commissioner to veto the trade now, assuming nobody objects to that  , so that I can work out something more equitable for Rondo2287 - who has been great to go along with my latest scheme.

Shall I reset the league trading option to "Commissioner Approval" for the purposes of nixing the deal, and then reset back to "League Votes"?

Well i will be dropping Bayless to waivers, in order to complete the deal.  Im hoping nobody picks him up before i get an opportunity to get him back, I would be sorely dissapointed.

I think in "real life" this is a better trade than it is in fantasy land.  I just like Harris' value a lot more, and he's younger.

What is up with all the players not being classified as pgs and c? Seems players are either sg/sf or sf/pf.

I think in "real life" this is a better trade than it is in fantasy land.  I just like Harris' value a lot more, and he's younger.

I like his value too, but at the same time, i get a first round pick and I still have

Baron Davis, Mike Conley, Flynn,Dragic, and Bayless.  But i needed rebounds because im not sure how Bosh's stats will react to joining miami

Agreed, i think this worked out very well for both of us.  I had an abundance of pg's and you had an abundance of SF/PF's so we both got what we needed.
