Every since Lucky was fired, the Celtics players started to go down with injuries.  The Celtics are playing without their leprechaun. How are the Celtics supposed to win without their good luck charm?  All other Celtics teams had the luck, but this team fired their lucky charm. Time to bring him back or hire another one.

Despite what that guy would want you to believe, his actual name isn't "Lucky".  He was just an annoying little guy who could jump off trampolines.  He had no effect whatsoever on the outcome of games.  If you needed him to get you pumped up for a game, there's something wrong with you.  The Celtics are the best franchise in the history of the NBA.  They don't need a mascot.

If not then we have far more pink hats who are there for the chance to say they went to a game rather than because they are fans in the stands than i thought we did.

those people are there fo course, but i like to believe there a smaller number of them than the drones in fenway, but if the lack of a moron who jumps off tramps is the deciding factor in how much they are into the game...

My wife actually misses him at the games.  I only miss him because he'd distract her enough that she'd leave me in peace to watch the game.

The Celtics haven’t had a lot of luck at home since they fired Lucky the Leprechaun as their mascot.

The Green won their first home game against Minnesota after letting “Lucky” (Damon Blust) go on Jan. 29 for skipping charity events, but they’ve lost four of their last six to fall to 26-6 at the Garden. They finished 35-6 at home last season.

Superstitious fans also may point out that the Celtics haven’t enjoyed any more luck with injuries lately, either. With Lucky no longer dunking off trampolines during breaks in the action, Kevin Garnett (knee), Tony Allen (thumb), Rajon Rondo (ankle), Glen Davis (ankle) and Brian Scalabrine (post-concussion syndrome) have gotten hurt.

Not a bad idea.
