I thought Pruitt should have started -- so that House + Marbury can continue to play alongside one another in the second unit, to help solidify that unit for the playoffs.

That's a good idea and it allows Doc some consistency in the rotations. He could focus on defense and share the playmaking with Ray and Paul.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

I'd keep starting Marbury.  Let him play.  It isn't going to be easy, but then again, we're not going to play the Magic every night.  By no means should we play Pruitt more.  He isn't going to play come playoff time, so there's no point in getting him PT.

We need to bite the bullet and get Stephon playing time.  If he can get up to speed by playoff time, he can put the C's over the top in any series.

Agreed. I don't know whether it was a mistake to start Marbury or not, but I was with Doc in that decision.  It just didn't work out.  Marbury is not not in shape yet and doesn't know all the plays or players tendencies.  I say keep letting him start until Rondo gets back.  I don't know that starting Eddie would be a whole lot better. Can always bring Eddie in early if the game is not going well.

For what it's worth, I thought Marbury played better in the 3rd quarted than he did in the 1st. I think as he gets a little more comfortable he'll be fine. He seems a little too concerned with giving up the ball as soon as he gets over half court. I'd like to see him control the ball a little more, but I have no doubt that will come.
As for no assists, He still made some nice passes. One imparticular lead to Powe would have been an assist, but Powe was grabbed going up. He also had a few pass that lead to the padd that lead to a basket. I keep starting him, if it was up tp me. I prefer House off the bench.

I feel for a handful of games especially the Orlando game House should have been  starting as pg .Marbury was not ready to be put into the starting role(no fault of his),but brought in gradually as the game progressed.Pruitt(pg) and Marbury(2g) might have worked  best as the backups Sunday.Hurting someone's ego is not an issue at this stage of the season. If this was in the first half of the season i could see trying Marbury out as a starter,if Rondo is injured but this is not the time of the season to be experimenting.I don't think Marbury's ego is that fragile, that he would cause a problem because Eddie started over him.Its about what's best for the team not about bruising someone's ego.

I think that if Marbury is gonna start, he should be out there running and making the team run.  Too much were they going to set instead of trying to get some transition points.  That would also hide some of Marbury's rust off by instead of making him create own shots or pass when the defense is set, to run and let natural instinct take over.  There would be a lot of off-target passes I would assume, but at least the team is being active.
