Just saw it on the pre game show. I am looking forward to seeing Starbury get some big minutes today . Rest Rondo until he is 100%

Reminds me of the LA game, Rondo turned his ankle the night before and they held him out.

This hurts our chances today.

As Rondo goes, so go the celtics, he's the floor general - but it is a great opportunity to see what starbury can do with 2 of the big 3 - I think we have to up-tempo this game b/c steph doesn't know all of the plays yet to run halfcourt

If this is not serious, it will be valuable experience for Steph. We might have to conceed this game though. I don't see us matching up very well defensively without the little guy.

I think Marbury will be okay against Raefer. Our biggest problems are Rashard and Howard still.

That's mainly true when he's on the floor. We'll miss him, but we should be fine without him too.

Great opportunity for Steph to play, but wow, it will be tough without Rondo...
I suspect we will be watching House play a lot of point today, and maybe even lowly Gabe Pruitt will get some minutes.

I sure hope Doc doesn't play PP more than 36 minutes or so.
Celtics fan for life.

In the short term, our team is not as good and we may lose a game or two more if Rondo is out for several games.  Not so much because our 1st team is so much worse but rather now our second team is a lot weaker.

In the long term though, I would hope this will be a big plus for Marbury getting his game back.

Should be fun to watch.

steph doesn't have his legs or his shot yet, which means this probably won't go well for us. hopefully rondo isn't out for long.

Did they say how many games is he going to miss? Considering how hard it is for them to win when he doesn't have a good game, it'll be even tougher to win without him playing.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.
