Ok, by now most of you have seen this. When I was watching the game with friends, I was the only one to notice it, and started cracking up. All I can say is thank God for DVR. Then I saw it posted as an article here on celticsblog and was happy to see that I wasn't the only one that saw it.
Anyway, I guess I really don't have a point here except to say that I'm curiuos to see if you guys think Pierce did the right thing. I definately understood where he was coming from, and at a moment like that, I probably would have done the exact same thing.
However I can remember when I was about 10 years old, Michael Jordan was nearing the end of his career with the Bulls. At that time, I was as big of a Michael Jordan fan there could be (well, who wasn't). And I remember my uncle taking me to a Bulls/Celtics game that year, although they were bleacher seats, not courstide. I'm just trying to wonder how upset I would have been as a little kid if I was sitting Courtside and stuck my hand out for Antoine Walker, how upset would I have been if he just ignored me? I dont know, it's just a thought.
Since MJ retired and the truth was drafted, I have been a bigger celtics fan than anyone I have ever met. And now, I hate players that are compared to Michael Jordan because they make it difficult for my team to win at times.
So was it the right move for Paul? Did he even do it on purpose?
