Just a random conjecture, but I know some players and coaches sometimes talk about the media and the general opinion of their team and players. You have to think that they know about Celticsblog...it's the biggest Boston Celtic blog, right?

if they do, they may do it for laughs.....some of the over-dramatic reactions following games, sad trade proposals, coaching techniques/strategies.

if some of the stuff on here makes me laugh and/or shake my head....i can only imagine a player or coach's reaction would be

You know who does read it, House and Powe? Is it really a coincidence that both elevated their play after all the discussion on Celtics Blog about them under performing?

I'd probably recommend that the players don't read it ;)

I know that many in the Celtics organization read it daily.  Though I've heard that Danny dosn't - and perhaps that's for the best too. :)

So your saying if I was to post my resume, Ainge wouldn't be hiring me?

I guess I need to find a new activity for today.

wow...that kinda gives me a new perspective on this blog and what goes on here. TP for you Jeff, for all your work! (though a tp is hardly proper recompense)

I would expect that some read it since many are involved with the Celtics because they are fans. Like other fans, they mike exposure.

I'm sure there are many different opinions within the organization or many issues. While Atlanta was the most public disagreement among owners we have seen in recent times, I'm sure many teams with multiple involved owners have disagreements, but defer to their President or GM. I could see them enjoying reading discussions.

There are also many people who read Celticsblog for the links and who do not bother with the forums. Like all forums, for every Roy Hobbs cap clarification post or cordobes Euro-player evaluation, we also have a ton of sign Toine and Doc is a fool to not give POB minutes.

Most coaches take their team to the film room, but Doc takes his to the computer lab so they can browse the threads on Celticsblog.
