Hi, I have been reading this site for some years.. this is my first post..
( my favorite celtic site.. ) , tonight..is a very important game.. AS IMPORTANT AS A SEASON GAME CAN BE... with the top two teams in the east... Did you notice that espn, the analyst, and the news are NOT TALKING ENOGHT.. OF CELTICS ARE PLAYING WITHOUT GARNETT??? LIKE IF ITS.. NOTE THAT IMPORTANT .. if the lakers where playin san antonio.. with out Kobe.. everyone woud be talking about it... what do you think???... ( sorry for my english spelling )

Welcome aboard!  It's always nice to have new members aboard.  Edgar, especially, will appreciate having somebody who (presumably) speaks a little Spanish.

I've had the same thoughts about the game.  It's ESPN's job to get viewers to watch, though, so they have to bill this as a battle of powerhouses; if they emphasize that KG is out, some casual fans wouldn't be as likely to tune in.

I too have noticed that. Even all the clips promoting the game have been absent of Kevin Garnett, showing only Lebron and Pierce. Its being billed as Cavs - Celtics instead of Lebron vs. Big three, because they don't want to have to say Garnett isn't playing. Its been clips of Pierce and Lebron.

Anyone who watches it knows that it doesn't signify much though because without Garnett the outcome won't tell us much. Amazing though that it will still be a fun competitive game without KG.

You are correct, doesn't seem to be much allowance for the fact that KG is out.  I think Roy is right, that ESPN needs to hype the game and make more people watch so they won't mention it.

Regardless, our chances are good tonight in my opinion.
