This movie was supposed to come out in 2008, but I never heard anything about it. Is it a DVD? Did it go to select theatres? Has anyone seen it?

Just curious, I'm a little interested...

haha well I guess that makes me look stupid.
I saw the website about a week ago but I could have sworn they didn't have the release date on there when I saw it.

Bias dying and the death of Reggie Lewis were the two saddest days in Celtics history. I'm always thinking about Reggie and Len never even got to play for us.

Yeah I was born the year after Bias died and was very young when Reggie Lewis passed away so I never really saw either of them play, but the stories really sadden me. I'm interested in learning more about them which is why I want to see this movie.

"Len Bias was really a stronger, more advanced version of Michael Jordan."

thats the quote that kills me everytime. the fact that he COULD have been the greatest to ever play, and he never got to even suit up.

I for one will never watch a movie about Len Bias.

His stupid*ss indiscretion singlehandedly set this franchise back many many many years.

He was Red's going away present for us...his final coup....He was going to make us a two decade dynasty. He was one tough mean SOB on the court with the heart of a lion, who could rebound like Buck Williams, run the floor like James Worthy and score like Bernard King. Don't doubt that he wasn't all of these things and more. Red knew him well from working at his summer camp in the D.C area. Red knew.

He was going to be part of a frontcourt that was arguably the best ever in basketball and with him there would have unquestionably been so. And he had the tools to be better than all of them. He would have extended the life of all of the Big Three at least 3-4 years each. But that didn't happen... He blew his heart out with too much blow, and you know the rest.

KC jones ground the Big Three into the ground and the hopes of a franchise for over a decade.

So no, I don't want to watch a movie or read anything more about Lenny Bias. He's like THE GIRL that got away...the winning megamillions ticket that got burned in a fire....the acceptance to Harvard that you were told was a mistake...why would I want to be reminded of any of that crap!

yep...that was the consensus of many who analyze players.  man, that still hits hard every time i see his name mentioned.  i'll never, ever forget that day (or reggie's for that matter).  :'(

That and the day the Celts traded Will Solomon.

Bias was a better college player than Jordan & Brian Tribble bites.
Call me a sap, but I love my kids more than anything!

With Len Bias and Reggie Lewis - we would probably be sitting on championship no. 23 right now.  :'(
