Usually I would never wish injuries on anyone in any sport, but this is awesome.  I absolutely can not stand this guy.  He's a cheater, a choke artist, a phony, everything bad that a premiere athlete could be.

What makes it better is there's a chance this injury could be from injecting needles into that hip.  That's pure speculation, but it is a logical explanation.

This guy is having an awful spring.  I think it's awesome.  It's nice that this is impacting the hated Yankees in a negative way, but that's not even why I'm loving it.  I just really can't stand A-Rod at all.

"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

Considering how painfully long spring training and a baseball season are, 10 weeks doesn't sound like much.  The Yankees will have him back healthy in plenty of time...to choke in the playoffs.  ;D

Is this a real injury or is 10 weeks just how long it takes to get steroids out of your system after juicing all off season?

Alex Rodriguez likely needs surgery to repair a torn labrum in his right hip, SI.com has learned.

The Yankees says they will initially try a more conservative approach of rest and rehab, but ultimately it's likely Rodriguez will need sugery. Yankees GM Brian Cashman said that if surgery is needed, Rodriguez would be sidelined for up to four months.

I hope he misses the season.  That may not be classy, but I hate A-rod.  He's the most fake player in professional sports.

Whoa there partner, take it one sport at a time. The Bruins have not won a playoff series since 1994. The Patriots have to rebuild their defense and Brady has to get his timing back. Red Sox probably need batting help in their lineup and play in a tough division. The Celtics have to get healthy and find a way to win in Cleveland and Los Angelos in June.

has karma ever caught up with a player faster than i t has to arod?

i mean, seriously, last 2 months- steroid user, hurt, adultry charges, that awkward photo shoot, now the madam who pimped for spitzer says he was a regular, and now the injury is a 4 month one instead of a month?

just amazing the train that hit him, not that he didn't deserve it heh.
