Two quick observations

1- Refs have an obligation by the league to keep games close, or make sure boston loses

2- Low TO's = easy wins. Tonight turned the ball over just 8 times which is half than usual.

Great Game, I still don't see how we get #18 with these filty bugs AKA NBA Officials. Maybe the league wants Cavs vs. Lakers (Lebron vs Kobe). Somehow I just keep watching but only celtics games.

Cordobes was definitely right on this one about keeping the turnovers down. I loved how we punished their traps and just kept working it into the paint.

A win over the Cleveland ZebraCavs is
certainly well worth the effort, even at
4:55 o'clock in the AM!!!

Paul Pierce did it all tonight it seemed like. Always fun to see him outplay Lebron.

I completely agree.  Basketball is fun and all, but watching Pierce show up the NBA's designated superstars has that extra kick to it.

If anyone is watching ESPN, did you guys notice how Pierce was high-fiving the fans EXCEPT the little boy wearing the Cavs shirt!  Classic!

Yeah. Like "Wrong jersey, kid"  8)
My brother noticed that too. Great game. I can't believe they didn't call some of the stuff against the Cavs inside. A lot of bumps and hip checks. Chippy game, Pierce shoved Mo Williams to the ground and LeBron just blew up Rondo on that screen.

Great great win.
Was watching with my daughter and I laughed out loud.  She said, "What Dad?"  I didn't tell her because although I thought it was great, it would have made her think Pierce was mean.   ;D

Can't give you a TP right now, but I'll be sure to remember for later.  That's a lot of effort even if it's not 4:55 AM!

Now let's stay up late and watch the Utah Jazz fans act like the jackasses they are. (Saw the film of them rising as one and cheering KG's knee injury.)

Stay classy, Utah.

I am actually rooting for Utah to do well -- I think they could give LA some trouble in the playoffs....

Is Sloan v. Jackson a hard call?  Heck yeah I'm rooting for Utah!

Wow. I really regret going to a show tonight (I do love See You Next Tuesday though.) I mean, I got kicked in the head by a guy doing a cartwheel (Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.?) at a metal concert. haha... and I miss a double digit win over the Cavs without KG.

Anyone know when the ESPN replay is?

This definitely wasn't the best officiated game ever, but it really wasn't the worst either. I think some of you guys might be overreacting a bit...

Not to mention, the bad calls were mostly limited to a stretch in the fourth quarter; albeit that's the worst time for inconsistent reffing. On the other hand, 3/4's of the game was handled pretty well by the refs.

Did you watch the game? :o :o

Wait, your real name is Mike Brown right? ;D

God, i love the Celtics !!!!

i love them because, as a kid, i started cheering for the "old champs" in 1969 during the playoffs. so, yeah, a big part is that i love the franchise.

but i love them just as much for the way they play basketball. the championship teams have been such a pleasure to watch. beautiful fundamentals, beautiful teamwork and beautiful aggressiveness. they play to their strengths and they execute. for a purist like me, they are so much fun to watch.
