  • The good ole days.
Prior to this season, 34 times a player had at least 31 points and 16 assists in the same game.  Not all that exclusive, but certainly impressive.  Well, Dwyane Wade just did it twice... in 9 days.

SOURCE

Also, over the past 8 games, Wade is averaging:

35.75 points | 10.875 assists | 5.375 rebounds | 2.75 steals | 1.375 blocks

Yowza!

Yeah he's having a crazy season. I read he's also on track to break the record for blocks by a player 6'4" and under. Useless trivia know but I find this hilarious for some bizarre reason ;D
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

DWade for MVP, 50 win be [dang]ed. How bad would the Heat be without him?

This never worked for Lebron and it won't work for Wade either.  He is ridiculously good though.

I hear you, but Big Z in 2007 is significantly better than anyone on this Heat team. There's a large difference between Big Z ( All Star Caliber C) and Udonis Haslem.

If we play the Heat in the playoffs, I'd be fearful of Wade averaging 15-20 free throws per game. Freaking Guy gets a lot of calls.

We played LeBron and Kobe last year. Wade wouldn't be much of a difference.

He gets my vote for MVP, mainly because I hate Kobe and LeBron. Having said that, he is deserving and I'd be happy if he took it home.

Also, Drew Gooden in 2007 is probably as good if not better than Jermaine O'Neil now.

Bump for another huge game.

(Still don't think he's the MVP though...)

I love how Wade missed two freebies at the end of the first overtime, to pad his stats in the second.   ;)

You mean Wade is ball hogging...there is a clear difference between the two.

I hear he was trying to help Casperian get the win in the +/- game tonight.

Playing some great ball right now.

double digit assists in 5 of last 7 games (the two he didnt get it, he had 8 and 9).

he isnt being a ball hog...certainly he takes a lot of shots, but he is playing incredible ball right now.
