Anyone else watch this thinkin "CRASH! CRASH! CRASH!" because of an irrational dislike of Jimmy Fallon?

Well I've been watching it...and Slow Jammin the News was money. I decided the guy deserves a fair shake.

You can't rush my stimulus baby...."

EDIT: and the roots is the house band? What? Awesome.

I saw one clip.

If this is the best clip NBC could find, the show is going the way of the Chevy Chase show.  (or even the Magic show)

Hulu has the whole thing...the deniro interview was absolutely terrible until the last 30 seconds. I feel for the guy because I mean..he's following the best (in my mind) late night guy since Carson in Conan. But, on top of that his first guess is Robert Deniro, who is on just about everyone's short list of favorite actors of the last 40 years.

I am a big fan of Conan O'Brien and I have to say that the show last night was very good. I have never been a fan of Jimmy Fallon and I was disappointed when he was announced to take over for Conan, but hopefully he will have a good show. I was pleasantly surprised with last night's episode and it will give me something to watch for 3 months until Conan takes over for Leno. At least nothing can be worse than Last Call with Carson Daly, that show is terrible and I hate that guy.

Ugh, I watched the first 15 minutes or so and I hated it so much. I was so happy that I didn't like it though, because that just means I can go to sleep an hour earlier.

Best Ever: (IMO)

1. Carson - I'm 19 and I have watched his "Best of" videos with my parents and he was absolutely hilarious. It was like he had an aura of greatness and could do no wrong.

2. Conan - I'm so happy he's getting a better time slot. This guy showed exactly how genius he is during the writer's strike last year when he had the most random shows going backstage, up on the catwalks, meeting crew members, playing guitar and singing, etc. Those shows were amazing in a time when they were not supposed to be. He'll be great in his new time slot.

3. Letterman - So annoying that it becomes funny. He has his fair share of guests that have given memorable interviews including Farrah Fawcett, Drew Barrymore, Joaquin Phoenix, Paris Hilton, etc. He goes so over the top making his guests feel uncomfortable that it's hilarious, ie. his interview with Paris Hilton after she got out of prison when he kept asking her questions about prison that she didn't want to answer. The Top Ten List is usually awful now, however the A-Roid one was one of the best I've ever heard. (I'll post a video if I find it)

4. Leno - Was never a fan of his when I was younger. I'm starting to like him now as a lead in for Conan. Jay Walking and the Ad Misprint segments are some of the funniest things I've ever seen on television.

5. Kimmel - I honestly didn't think he would be a good late night talk show host judging from when I saw him on The Man Show. Adam Corrola did more for The Man Show than Kimmel in my opinion and I didn't think Kimmel was deserving of a show. Boy, was I wrong. He has continued to impress me. The skits with Sarah Silverman "I'm F****** Ben Affleck", and "I'm F****** Matt Damon" were hilarious.

I'm interested in seeing other lists on here... and videos of people's favorite late night moments.

He was really nervous.  Talked really fast because of it.  Kind of got heckled in the opening.  If he calms down he could work in the long run but that was kind of rough.

The Lick it for 10 bucks thing was uncomfortable.

The lick it for 10 bucks thing was horrible. Not funny, and it wasted 5 minutes. 5 minuts I will never get back.

The Roots as a house band is an awsome idea, pity it meant they had to cancel their last Australian tour because of it  :'(

Conan is a tough act to follow...How weird is it seeing the Roots as the house band.
