People say that the rooks will miss a few things, make some mistakes, but these people over look everyone's mistakes, who is perfect...? No one...! IF, Doc was playing them early in the season like he should of if he saw the whole picture they would be seasoned by now...that is what you do to make a full team with plenty of backup and give the other team problems with "D" and endurance...! Neve gave Perk a rest, and you know his shoulder is still iffy.....things don't heal when you are playing all these games, players play thru them and it is up to the COACH to know better....that is the job...! Doc didn't "Getit" He was told. And he didn't do anything yet. There were OTHER guys he should have played all year and then he would have a healthy, deep team, like we should have at this point. I hope the team can get it together and compensate for Doc's lack of vision...!

Apparently, the rookies playing was a one game thing.

I was steamed when we were down 22 and Doc was still playing the starters like crazy. I know we almost came back to win, but still playing PP and Ray 45ish minutes doesn't help.

I didn't really believe him when he made that statement and it only took one game before it was back to the same old same old. I can't understand how he can't see it doesn't help the team to have Paul and Ray worn out when the team is gets back to full strength.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

I expect Doc to go back to Walker for 10 minutes on Wednesday, no matter what. I can't see him playing Pierce and Allen more than 40 minutes against the Heat, and I will be be very angry if he does.

Sadly, with Rondo and KG out, I could see Doc playing RA and PP even more -- it is because he doesn't trust the non-starters, and so will always want to have one of RA or PP on the floor at all times.

I find it incredibly frustrating.

I cannot believe that I am now going to sort of defend Doc, the man the I personally beat up for his first years with us, but here goes.  Doc would be hailed a hero IF we had come back and won this game today for keeping us in the hunt for the #1 seed.  He almost did it with about half a team, didn't he??  We don't know what kind of pressure he has on him from Danny, Wyc, etc. to earn that #1 seed!!  Doc also knew that we don't play for 3 days and that PP and Ray could get their rest then during his scaled down practices to acclimate Marbury into the offense.

I cannot believe that I am typing this:-))))

Rock on Doc!!:-))))

The last two games have been against Cleveland and Orlando - Boston's two chief rivals....Doc rod the horses for the two big games - if he does that on Wednesday give 'em hell....but he won't...
