Hello All,

Today is March 1, 2009 and I am declaring it

"GIVE REDZ A TP DAY"

& I need you to do 2 things:

#1.  Write Redz a note on this thread to keep the thread live at the top of the list. 
Why, well because in non-CB world, Redz is having a huge moment in his life and we need to send him our support.  (For years he's owned a business that employed lots of kids and today that business is closing as he moves on to a new chapter in his lift)

#2.  Find a post by Redz and give him a TP
Right now he has 1152 TPs let's push that number up over 1200 for the day!!  If anyone deserves the support of this board on a tough day it's him.

So...............Are you with me?

It is indeed a big day.  I'm really happy about it though (I just wish it would stop snowing).

I started grad school in December for a degree in Special Ed, and I've really been enjoying and doing well with it.  The shop had to take a backseat.  It was a lot of work and love to get it to where it ended up, but the time is right to move on and instead of it being a sad thing, it's actually a gratifying day. 

So thanks for the TPs - as I'm always fond of saying - "no presents please, just your presence".  The TPs are nice, but the people are what makes this place - and the same holds true for my shop.  And that's what I'll miss (except for the occasional jerk  )

Is The Caped Cod closing?  Is it too late to buy a shirt?  I always wanted to buy one  but always figured I would just wait till I was in the area and stop in and buy one in person (unfortunately I've yet to be in the area since I discovered the jewel of Chatham here on Celticsblog).

In May I'm re-opening in the shop in a teeny space off the beaten path....I'm going to see if my customers will show up on a part time schedule with me having next to no overhead.
