i just don't like the signs this team is showing with or without KG. they are struggling putting teams away and in the playoff that will kill boston...as of right now they would get detroit in round one....the magic in round 2 and then the cavs....that is a tough road to run

Exactly...not having KG is not in excuse...not having scal to spread the floor in his abscense really is salt in the wound though.
This team lost games like this with KG in the lineup, either way...its happened way to many times this season...basically in every loss its been a gag job at the end by boston

That's game.  Terrible shooting games by Rondo and Ray.

Very subpar defense.

And I think it's safe to say this Pistons team is alot scarier WITHOUT Allen Iverson.

I think starting out 5-0 without KG gave us a little false hope as to how we'd perform.  I think not having KG is starting to catch up to them.

mybe a coincidence, maybe not, but we are undefeated when kg is out and we have scal :(

Yeah I think having Scal replacing KG is important for minimizing the effect of his absence. The offense seems more uptempo and smooth with Scal instead of Baby to offset the dips in the defense and rebounding.

PP can't play 48 minutes a game. Too much. The Celtics are tired.

what i don't understand is saving garnett and burning out pierce...makes no sense

Pierce is gassed at the end of games.

Wow, Pierce actually played the whole game.  :o

Starbury had a terrible game, but it wasn't his fault that he had to guard someone 6'9" and Eddie was bringing the ball up every time. (Isn't that why we got him? To be a point?)

Thats not true, the "undefeated with scal starting" we lost 2 game to Orlando and Cleveland last year with no KG and scal starting
this year, i think it may be true..but ive heard alot of people say the last 2 years..

Anyways.. I agree with KG out, missing scal to start and spread the floor is salt in the wound

The Pistons is one team TA has been successful with in the past...that backup off the bench to give Pierce a blow was missing today. Also,Ray Allen usually scores more aganist them .

Then why is he burning out Pierce?  Does that only apply to KG?

When it comes to crunch time, that generally means half court offense and we are NOT executing.  Rondo thrives in chaos and hasn't been able to save us down the stretch.  Neither has Pierce been able to really carry the team lately.  The sky is not falling, but it's time for the coaching staff to work on correcting our mess down the stretch.
