This article completely bashes Marbury as a player and a person.  I am pretty impressed because I thought this article was overly aggressive.  I can see where he's coming from, but this guy doesn't give him any credit whatsoever.  I guess we'll see how it goes.

Yeah, I read that yesterday.  He really rips Starbury apart.  I can understand why people don't want to give him the benefit of the doubt, though.

Marbury is a Celtics now, or will be.  Those who hate him, hate him even more now.

Yeah, I read it yesterday as well.  It is partly a "shock" piece (though I also get the sentiment).  One would assume this would motivate Marbury to prove people wrong.  We'll see how it goes.

This article was posted yesterday somewhere. And my response is the same. If Marbury is such a loser, how would this guy rate Pierce prior to KG's arrival?

My point launched a Marbury vs Pierce debate... but my point is that Marbury was never good enough to carry a team. Neither was Pierce.

I understand the bashing... but this is a low risk proposition. The players in Boston want him there. And he is cheap and easily cut able if he doesnt toe the line.

ugh... Marbury's a moron.  We'll see what happens here.

I hope they do a lot of drug testing before they sign him.  Seriously.   The guy isn't right.

The more I read, the worse I feel about this guy being a celtic.  Just a bad feeling that they are selling a part of their soul to be around him.  I hope they put his character performance on a very, very short leash.   Just a bad feeling.

Why anyone cares about an article written by some hack who has an ax to grind, I have no idea. I have concerns about Marbury, but if he comes in and plays the role the Celtics need him to play, all will be well. I for one am looking forward to seeing him on the court Sunday versus the Pistons.
