OK. Sub-par play but I'll take the win. They need to play better on Sunday. Pistons snapping their losing streak, AI banished to bench they're going to come in swinging to prevent a season sweep.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

Marbury played pretty good with limited time to get use to the system. I'm liking the sign already.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

Overall an ugly game.  R2 couldn't hit anything but managed 17 dimes at least.  Jesus was Jesus-y.  I wonder if PP's getting a little burned out with all the minutes though, he's been out of sorts for a few games now.

But the Bench!  Oh the bench!  Baby (who I guess it technically not the bench right now) was clutch except for that one FT (Ray Ray, you need to work with them on that).  Marbury was nothing but encouraging with his on the court play.  Imagine what he'll be like when the rust comes off!  And even Mikki contributed (he'll need to learn the sets too)-which is more than what POB ever did.  I'm strangely optimistic despite it being a closer than needed to be game.

Can someone tell me why Doc had Moore and Marbury out there at the same time. 2 guys who don't know our system = some really bad defense. Ugly game but a win is a win. I'll take it with Garnett out and PP all banged up.

gotta feeling boston is going to house detroit sunday...they play well and there will be a day of practice..plus...the pistons are thin on the bench...i really like the line up of house, marbury, ray allen, powe and moore off the bench....hey rondo needed to play more agressive tonight but it is so nice seeing a guy like marbury come in a set the table...defend and hit some shots...having marbury will save some wear and tear on PP and ray...we just need KG and Scal back...anyone else think gabe is never getting off the bench again? forgot about TA...he at least can play some defense...when boston gets all of their parts back for the run...it is going to be good

AC: i'm going to imagine it had something to do with the lack of depth. we had 11 players dressed for tonite.  two of which were walker and giddens, so de facto that is 9.  probability would tell you that they would be on the court together, 2 back up guards, 2 back up bigs and they are one of each.

That's a tough bunch out there in SA, even the bench guys. I admire them.  Yes, and root for them fairly frequently--though given how much I can't stand the rest of the West it isn't a hard decision.

The Pacers have played us tough all year. Not shocked it was close.

Seems like Marbury played well.

Wasn't able to catch the game but the box score has some standouts.  Ray was very good.  Rajon was dishing the rock.  Marbury was apparently very solid.  Good recovery from LA.  Sunday should be fun.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

It's a win, we are working in the two new guys minus KG, and Steph looked good for being thrown out there.  Things look promising.   :)

It was a win, but it was close -- Cs looked to pull away a few times, but then Indiana kept clawing back.

Marbury looked good playing his first game in four months with a new team and an offense he doesn't know. I'm at the very least cautiously optimistic. If he can play on the level he was capable of playing on a few years ago, our bench will become the best in the league.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.
