  • You know my methods, Watson.
what a moron...

guess we're already starting to act like marbury is here...not playing hard and getting hammered after a loss.  sounds just like the effect mr. tattoo-head would have...

one vin baker was enough for me...cut him and send the kid a message, basketball potential be [dang]ed.

I think that's exactly right. There are bigger things in this world than basketball.

By that logic, should've never signed Posey last year.

There's a difference between driving SHATTERED and drunk. And the living a little is having a few brews (probably going over the limit) and heading home, while still being completely competent.

spoken like every person who's ever killed someone driving drunk 5 minutes before they leave the bar.

So are you denying that there is a difference between being shattered and being over the legal limit, yet still able to function properly?

Maybe you and Gabe can share the same cell. What an absolutely ridiculous thing to say. Can you please tell everyone on here the bars you frequently visit and the routes you drive home so we can stay away?!

Im with EJ, if you can give me that info, that would be great. don't want to get the side of my car in the way of your living alittle.

Agreed. There's no correlation between "living a little" and driving drunk. You can certainly live a little, pass out on the bathroom of a club and not place others at risk.

what does this have to do with your personal view that its ok to drink and drive, which is what we were discussing?

Ive made no comments on saying gabe should be cut, nor do i believe he should for this incident.

I do think it hurts him if another cut would be needed, since he's a guy with no proven recored to fall back on, and as roy said, sicne they have a decision to make this summer, it certainly isn't going in the plus column at eval time.

I wonder how KG reacts to stuff like this.  One of his best friends, Malik Sealy, was killed by a drunk driver.

I think we should all move away from personal views at this point, because it's starting to get heated between posters.  Let's keep this about Pruitt and the Celtics.

Gabe couldn't handle the truth. It must've been devastating going back to the D-League. It crushed him deep inside. He was like ainge screw you, I'm going to embarrass the C's. I feel sorry for Gabe, he doesn't get much attention now he gets for the wrong reasons.

Here's what happened, according to officers:

Quote
Shortly before 3 a.m., a Los Angeles traffic cop saw the drivers of two vehicles stopped at a green light on W. Sunset Boulevard “having a conversation,” said Officer April Harding, an LAPD spokeswoman. The officer pulled over the Mercedes S550, which Pruitt was operating, for having illegally tinted windows and being stopped at a green light, Harding said.

“During the investigation, which included a field sobriety test, the officer determined that Pruitt was driving under the influence,” she said.

Pruitt, 22, was taken to the LAPD’s Hollywood division jail where he was booked on a misdemeanor DUI charge, police said.

Quote
The player’s bail was set at $5,000 but Pruitt had not been released by 8 a.m. local time. The Celtics were scheduled to depart LA at 10 a.m. local time.

“He’s still going through the booking process,” Harding said.

"LOS ANGELES -- Police say Boston Celtics guard Gabe Pruitt has been arrested in Los Angeles on suspicion of drunken driving.

Officer April Harding says the 22-year-old Pruitt was pulled over in Hollywood shortly after 3 a.m. Thursday and later booked on suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence.

The Celtics had lost 93-91 to the Los Angeles Clippers a few hours earlier. Harding says records showed that Pruitt had not yet posted his $5,000 bail.

Pruitt is from the Los Angeles area and played college basketball for Southern California." (ESPN.com)

Rather funny he can't post his own bail, even if he is making a poor salary for NBA standards...but its prob just the whole booking/legal process and whatnot. i'm sure the guy isn't broke

"illegal tinted windows" - sounds like profiling to me.

Why give him a field sobriety test?  That's kind of BS.

Stupid Faker fan cops...
God bless and good night!

By profiling, you mean checking on a car that is parked at a green light at 3AM?

I don't care who is driving the car, or what kind of car it is, if I were a cop, I would pull them over too, to see if they are sober enough to be driving.
