Walsh should really be embarrassed that he has handled the Marbury situation with zero class.

Stephon Marbury can go to hell.

I think he was already there the last two years in NY

Stephon Marbury can go to hell.

Good analysis.

We need Marbury. He absolutely could be a detriment to the team, but I think there's a better chance he brings us to another level. If he doesn't perform, nobody will take another chance on him.

I don't think KG, PP, Ray and Doc will allow him to start making any trouble. With that said I think we need him. Him and his glorious head tattoos.

Marbury would be interested, but he won't get many minutes. I don't see Rondo and Marbury playing at the same time, so there are at most 14 MPG available for him. This also takes Pruitt completely out of the picture.

I would like a legit backup PG like Marbury, but I wonder how long he can be satisfied with 14 MPG.

Then again, 14 MPG is better than his current undefined MPG (0 min / 0 games)

Tuesday as in today. Not sure what time we will hear the results of the meeting. If it goes well we might hear word later tonight. If it's uneventful we probably will find out tomorrow.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

You know the interesting thing about this Marbury meeting today is that it's the perfect self-fulfilling prophecy. We know that "several" Celtics players have apparently challenged Marbury to walk away from some money so that he can get his buyout and join the C's. If Marbury takes the challenge, it's a sign that the team's infrastructure - their Ubuntu if you will - is strong enough to influence Marbury for the better. If that's true, then Marbury to Boston ought to work out just fine.

If, however, Marbury remains childish and refuses to let go of his grudge and walk away from the money, he won't get his buyout. But in that case, he'll have proven that we don't want him. If he's still not humble enough to let it go, then he proves his critics right.

Here's to hoping that the C's Ubuntu sufficiently motivates him to get that buyout.

Also, how happy would people be happy to see a SF signed like Antoine or Bonzi? Surely both an upgrade over Scal and Big Fatty, no?
